I thought this source was banned yet I literally see tweets from them on every fecking page. :wenger:

They've quoted their source, which is all that is required I think.

I'm all for this. In fact, if we manage to keep the likes of Pogba, De Gea etc. and surround them with good, hardworking players while simultaneously getting rid of the underperformers and those only interested in the bigger wage packet, that'll improve the squad so much. A mixture of world class and hardworking players were a key part of some of Ferguson's most successful teams.
Pogba and DDG have been two of the bigger underperformers/players interested in big pay packets.

man utd is crying out for a quality right winger who is not a super star prima donna and gives all out to the club and works hard... there is he tonight... 25m release clause... hakim ziyech... if his finishing is better spurs will be out already...

Conte managing Ronaldo? Disaster waiting to happen
Tuchel to Barca? The manager who masterminded the 2nd biggest CL bottling job of the season gets to replace the one who masterminded the bigger bottling job.

Why is Conte a disaster?

I do believe he gets a lot of unfair stick because of his second season at Chelsea. Chelsea are on the same amount of points that Conte finished with last season despite a new manager and spending more money.

The job he did to rebuild Juventus who didn’t look anywhere near winning Serie A before he arrived shouldn’t be forgotten.

David Anderson & David McDonnell: "PSG have been in talks with Herrera since January and he has now shaken hands on a three-year deal worth £160,000-a-week to move to Paris on a Bosman on July 1. United are prepared to let him leave on a free because they were unwilling to meet his camp’s terms to sign a new deal. Herrera is on around £60,000-a-week and wanted close to £200,000-a-week to stay — to bring him into line with some of the big earners at the club."

Simon Bird: "Newcastle have targeted young Swansea winger Daniel James – as Ayoze Perez weighs up a big money move to Italy.
The club have registered an interest in the 21-year-old, along with Bournemouth . The £10m star came close to joining Leeds in January..."

I wish him well. We should have made Captain and extended his contract a year ago. Don't blame him at all for being interested if PSG were willing to make a significant commitment to him - something United failed to do since the day he signed

So Herrera was making less money than Jones, and Lingard?

"It is thought United will listen to offers for the second most expensive signing in their history – but would want to recoup the money they paid Everton in 2017.
For now, Solskjaer is planning on Lukaku being part of his squad next season..."

I find it hard to justify keeping a player who's been talking about going to Italy constantly and putting in the shittest performances you've ever seen.

Keeping him another season isn't going to increase his value, I can tell you that much.

Have you missed that lad Rashford?

As if anyone is paying the fee we paid for Lukaku. Guess the useless lump is staying.

I would guess 50 million is the minimum we'd accept.

I can see Lukaku taking a wage reduction to play at Inter or wherever to be the main striker.

Another PL team has the money, maybe Lukaku can do a Di Maria.

And your idea of being strong is Selling every player we have ?

it was a tongue in cheek reference to Ole's survival of the fittest comments because Lukaku is a strong guy. But he quite clearly doesn't fit the style Ole wants us to play so yes, he should be one of the first out of the door.

tbh I thought Lukaku would be on Ole's get rid list however I don't believe he should be a priority to get rid of. Like the article says really if someone offers good money sell, if not keep for another season and move him on in a years time if he hasn't improved

Ugh, so much for Ole the ruthless, Lukaku is a waste of time, simply nowhere near good enough of a footballer, and the club are deluded if they think they will recoup their money as they massively overpaid for him, he wouldn't get a game for any of the other teams in the stop 6.

I agree with that stance if that's the case. Lukaku won't be missed if he's sold but with the turnover we're already looking at, I don't thing selling and replacing him should be a priority this summer. We simply can't clear out all the players we we would like to see the back of in one summer.

With Lukaku I think they're just making it look like we're not trying to sell, just to face potential negotiations from a better position. But to me it's obvious that he's not part of the plans and he knows it already, and this is why he and his agent have been talking rubbish in the last months, pretending they're the ones aiming for more.

If Solskjaer wants to play an energetic game with hard pressing and lots of running, then it's impossible that he wants Lukaku as a regular starter, there's zero chance. Maybe as a super sub to add a strong presence in the box, but he would never accept that role so I think the story is clear here. As soon as someone makes a decent offer he's gone, good for both parties.
