This is why Ole should have benched him. LVG refused to start De Gea during the whole contract saga and it was the correct decision. Ole has made some questionable choices barely 6 months in, consequently I think it has given the players a mentality of being able to walk all over him.
We have number two keeper for a reason.
I think it is more to do with the free fall at the end of the season and Ole's inability to curtail it.

I can only offer my opinion, as can you, he doesn't seem to have any attacking ability comparable to Kimmich, Cancelo or TAA for me. For 60 million you atleast expect him to have some sort of attacking prowess of the above mentioned players.
There's a stark difference between AWB and Munier. I think AWB is far more suited to improving us than Munier would be, personally.
His attacking stats aren't great but I dont imagine he has free reign to bomb it up the wing at Palace, his primary job is to defend.
Then again im not an expert on Palace so maybe im completely wrong.
