Hopefully the price will come down significantly. £45 million would be nice. Best RB in league for sure last season, and is young. I genuinely enjoy watching him play. Like his style in defence.

I think maybe you are to be fair, there's a reason Young kept getting played over Dalot it's because he's the better of the two in that position.
Dalot has been absolutely shambolic in a fullback position.

Because 60m is basically a world record fee for a fullback anyway. His price isnt going up because 60m isnt his fair price. It's the ridiculous price that Palace will sell at because its meant to deter people from buying him unless they pay a crazy price.
Theres a difference between the crazy prices some teams will take to sell a player and their actual fair price. The "crazy prices" like 60m for Wan Bissaka, 120-150m for Sancho, 120m for Joao felix... those prices arent going up. That's just a price they set as if those players are at their peak but it shouldn't change. The goal is to get these players before teams feel like they can value them at these prices (Tielemans at £40m is one such example).
Why not just go for Max Aarons for a cheaper price?

They should buy Aaron’s, loan him back to Norwich, rotate with Dalot and Young, if it’s not working out and Aaron’s can handle the premiership, call him back in January?
Just think AWB is worth 30 million tops and we are going to pay double that, 60 is world class defender money regardless of position and I’m not sold he is or ever will be.

I agree. A couple months ago I thought maybe it would just be good to give Dalot a chance and spend elsewhere but then I watched AWB live and every single game I liked what I saw.

60 million is a fair price for a talented English player if he lives up to the hype. Quite cheap in today's market. We need to pay the feck up.

Gary Neville gave a lot of width and put in a lot of crosses. So did evra. I don't think traditionally we play conservatively with our full backs.
To be honest 60 now is what 40 was last year and 30 was 2-3 years ago. Market prices are increasing at an unstainable rate. I'd say Walker to City at 45 was more expensive considering the above.
