To be fair, how did we not think of this.
Rooney, although he had no right to, spoke about the lack of quality signings under Sir Alex, and looking back, we can all see now and how the managers who have come in have struggled.
I agree that we need 5 or 6 with potential, but if they're quality young players, i.e. Wan-Bissaka, Sancho, Havertz, Felix, Rice, etc then they're all going to cost ridiculous amounts too.
Maybe splash out on a couple of those players, but then after that, its up to our scouting system to try and find some astute signings. Someone like Longstaff is a good example.

Navas, Reguilon, Vallejo, Llorente, Lucas Silva, Kovacic from the article. Thats quite a lot of players to be moved on so they may get close to the 300, if not all of it.

all the above mentioned might get 100 m not more.
We have good trading players in Pogba and Lukaku who are wanted by a couple of clubs. If we were willing to let Pogba go back to Juve. We could get Dybala and another player for him.
If Lukaku went to Napoli. We could maybe get Koulibaly or Fabian Ruiz in any deal. What do you think.
