I wonder who the Caf would rather have...

De Ligt or João Felix and Bruno Fernandes?

For a second, after a quick cursory glance, I thought Hearts were in for Pogba. Instead its Charlie Adam. Damn it.

And I thought Adam had opened the door for Hearts and Manchester United before seeing the last bit.

I know he's wildly inconsistent, been accused of being poison in the dressing room and possibly cares more about haircuts than hard work, but I think Hearts could have found a place for Pogba in the squad for next season

Unfortunately we just extended Peter Harings contract this week. Pogba was just over the budget.

We should just tell Madrid £140 million is the price for Pogba and they have until July 1st to sign him. After that he isn’t for sale.

We should buy before we sell, otherwise we will end up paying 100m for tier 2 players

The Spanish press is somehow worse than the English papers. Takes some work, quite impressive really.

Nooo. I like this player, he’d do well for us

I'm not completely sure about him. This season he's played a lot better than last season. Most Ajax supporters I know think his stock will never be higher than it is now and they should cash in on a "relatively limited" player. Last season they thought he was a shite version of Klaassen. Still, I think he could be a good Herrera replacement. Just not sure if he's worth the 60 million being quoted.

So they are negotiating with Brandt eventhough they have already agreed terms with T.Hazard? Are they already preparing for Sancho to leave this summer, or next, because I don't see the point is signing both Brant and Hazard when you have Reus and Sancho. They currently have one LW option open with the departure of Pulisic and a current lack of quality there (Guerriro and Brunn Larsen are not good enough) right now, having both will make it difficult to rotate and give them all minutes.

They have pressing issues at ST and wing back as well with Gotze not really working out well there and Hakimi will go back to Madrid with his loan finishing. Maybe Favre will play a system with Reus as the number 9 and an attacking midfield trio of Hazard, Brandt and Sancho.

That's exactly how we should conduct our business, stick a price on a players head (every player has a price), set a deadline for someone to meet it, and if no one pays up in time, the player stays, 'them de rules'

Think the Pogba transfer won't happen. Real don't have the funds to splurge on him and Eriksson is a viable alternative who will likely be cheaper (£70-£80m) and is probably the more consistent player and who will likely accept a wage that is around half of what Pogba is currently on.

It's a no brainer for them.

It’s important United do not waste 90% of the summer faffing around with Pogba.

Set a price, tell Paul and his agent, then don’t give it another seconds thought!

Simple

Exactly mate. The last thing we need is a summer long “will he, won’t he” saga.
