Now that’s what I call breaking news. No one even knew this was coming. How much stuff have been in the press and media about ours?
Brilliant move by Chelsea, bringing in an old player who knows the "Chelsea way". Credentials are meaningless, what's important is that he know the "Chelsea way".....just fecking with yall

Weren’t most of the fans here of the opinion that we shouldn’t buy old players?
Wolves signed Moutinho last season and he's considerably better than all our mids bar Pogba. I would take Rakitic because we need experienced players too. And if he can give us a couple of seasons of service, then the transition phase will be alittle smoother.

We shouldn’t generally but he’s a superb player and as Castles said, he has only missed 9 matches in 5 years.

He's a superb player that Barca wants rid of. That doesn't raise eyebrows to you?

Rakitic is excellent midfielder. 31 or not, he would be huge upgrade to our midfield and finally we would have another midfield except Pogba who actually knows to play football

It’s all, we’re thinking about creating this role, we are talking to candidates, we are considering so and so, we are getting a clearer idea on who is a better fit, we have no idea if we’re gonna do it, we think we will appoint one, we are talking to candidates, and repeat the cycle.
With all due respect, you have literally no idea what we're doing.

I'd welcome Rakitic. Perhaps we'll use him in a more creative role, akin to the role he had at Sevilla.

Very confusing - we looks to have offered Rabiot as well and now Rakitic?

Probably one of Rakitic or Rabiot and partey or Gueye kind.

Pogba,Rakitic, Partey (or similar mould ) would be brilliant .

His best position is exactly what we need. Creative central midfielder. Pogba( if he stays) would have another midfielder to play with.

They're pretty bad mate as far as reliability goes. But don't worry, I've done the same over the years in this thread.
Fair enough. I just saw Juve fans discussing it on twitter and thought it was worth posting. Thanks for the heads up.

He hasn't been that great lately. Still, a nice option to have, at his best he is better than all of our midfielders bar Pogba.

To be fair McTominay is our second best midfielder after Herrera's exit so that don't say much.
