Lingard, Chong should play ahead of Mata if it’s on the right. If he plays as a 10 that’s fine. But he won’t.
Lingard who has 13 career assists? Mata out produces This joker even when he is not playing.

Ben Godfrey, defender/midfielder for Norwich. Believe Rio recommended him.
Thanks.
Can't say all these links excite me much. Didnt realise our ex players have such a passion for lower level players.
Could have just taken a pic of him wearing the shirt. Now we got a pic of him holding the shirt which is identical to the one he is wearing.
Nah, not likely. Walk away from this.
Isn't he on Rio's agency or something like that?Ben Godfrey, 21 year old English centre back/defensive midfielder who plays for Norwich.
What a surprise.
Also who the feck is Godfrey?
Reading between the lines a bit but it looks like things aren't going to plan for us so far. Mata staying means no new RW, which means we'll still be piss poor in attack. Throw in Lukaku staying and it's the icing on the cake.
Considering we apparently didn't think we needed a new CB a few weeks ago, it's going to be interesting to see how we improve. I'm not stretching with this conclusion, but we'll still be crap next year.
He's had a solid season, he's more of a prospect. Championship might sound daunting to some but the likes of Spurs / Liverpool get these unknown players and make use of them due to something called scouting.
There's more than enough players in the English 2nd tier division that would walk into our starting 11: Grealish, Aaron's, James, Mount, Abraham. A second list who could make the bench would consist of the likes of Wilson (harsh but true), Bowen and Kelly.
Our first team is actually pretty cr@p

Can Isco play in a midfield 3 ala Bernardo & David Silva?
What this tells us is that he is constantly on the move looking for space. He is not a winger, never has been, never will be. He's a very good player and although he might not fit into the style of play Ole wants to play, he is a good option to have for when there's a tight game. Not as if there are a load of players in the squad who have his eye for a pass and making something happen. The guy is a productive player and seems like a great professional.
Hope that isn’t Rolando Aarons :/He's had a solid season, he's more of a prospect. Championship might sound daunting to some but the likes of Spurs / Liverpool get these unknown players and make use of them due to something called scouting.

This could be posted in the "most punchable face" thread.
Mata played 9 more games last year scored 1 goal more than Lingard. Lingard had one more assist. So yeah if that’s called out producing fair enough.

Completely agree about Federico Chiesa. Looks a frightening prospect and on par with Sancho. To name Chiesa as a "meh" player...shaking my head...
I follow Serie A as closely as PL, Chiesa is the next BIG thing. He should be mentioned in the same bracket as Sancho, Felix etc. If and I bet they will, Juve sell Dybala this summer, they are most likely to bring in Chiesa as his replacement. Tells you enough, he is good enough to replace Dybala even at his tender age. Chiesa is the captain og a Fiorentina team that have indeed not been great the last few seasons, but he stand out every match. This kid is unreal and a proper leader, like De Ligt.
I would LOVE for United to sign Chiesa. Perfect signing, can play as RW, right inside forward, SS, #10 etc but prefer RW.
Fiorentina are having a torrid time as well. Only just clear of relegation. Quite a few players there that would be good options for a lot of teams.Completely agree about Federico Chiesa. Looks a frightening prospect and on par with Sancho.
I agree, would take both Chiesa and Milenkovic in a heartbeat. Chiesa reminds me of the former Arsenal great Robert Pires.Fiorentina are having a torrid time as well. Only just clear of relegation. Quite a few players there that would be good options for a lot of teams.
Can't just get rid, all depends on if anyone actually wants them.I understand that we can’t ship em all out in one go but just getting rid of one or two would be a start. I know it’s ealry in the window but at this rate United are going to be starting with exactly the same team next season. With young as captain

Will be interesting to see how much he goes for. Last year his price was 100 mill plus, I’m guessing he’ll be sold for 50 - 60 mill
