The likelihood of 5 of our current best XI being just rotation players is slim to none.

Yep. People need to be realistic for once, as much as it would be nice for us to make wholesale changes, chances are we won't. Better to go in with lower expectations. It's only March and some are already getting disappointed about a window that hasn't even opened yet.

So he's the Neil Custis in a otherwise Mirror/Sun like tabloid?
Evening Standard are London based, so historically they haven't had many exclusive reports on United. However, Robson is Manchester based and used to be fairly reliable when working for the MEN, so I wouldn't be surprised if he still had some links at the club.

Yeah, I don't necessarily think we need to either. If we can get a CB, a CM and Sancho/Greizmann type signing (someone that would instantly improve out attack), that would be enough IMO. You have to have faith in Fred, Dalot and the youth to step up.

Madrid already signed a player, Barca have done the same and are eyeing up Jovic and De Ligt. Liverpool after Dybala. Man City want Saul. Whereas Woodward is standing around with his d**k in his hands. Would fans of any other club accept being outspent by Fulham in the summer? Especially if you make as much money as United. Come summer we will make 3 signings max and fans wont complain. In fact people want us to make a few signings only because they want 'youth to be promoted'. What a farce.

Everything I said was a fact. If anything its the fact fans dont have meltdowns and are happy cheering on players like Young, Jones etc till they get new contracts.
United never get deals done early. The club doesn't act like a big club. And maybe if fans were more vocal about signings like other clubs Woodward will realise he is incompetent. We have been chasing Saul for 3 years. City will buy him within a month. But dont worry we have Garner coming through. What a joke. We have so many positions filled with average players yet Woodward will not get signings done early, he will wait like he always does till he signs Bale on deadline day.

 These have to be in the running for post of the year. Great satire, surely.

Thanks for the reply. You just upgraded my Sancho muppet level.

Trust me,I'm quite realistic about our movements in the upcoming transfer window.
I think Sancho is going to the major priority, with good reason as he ticks all of the right boxes for us.

Don't know much about him but does he improve us?
He would be bought to contribute goals and assists at a better rate than Matic and Herrera, or as a back up for Pogba. As for whether he can contribute at the same level in the PL I don't know.

Griezmann to Bayern
Dybala to Liverpool
Coutinho to PSG
Hazard to Madrid
Salah/Mane to Madrid

And we'll faff about with Sancho all summer until eventually paying more than any of the above transfers cost. The just my best guess for what happens.

Literally just suggested by a few Caf members and now it's happening is it?

Jesus Christ. This year looks like its going to unbearable with the caf muppets and meltdowns.

Usually I'm all up for it, it's a bit of fun if people don't take it too seriously. But this is getting mad already.

Literally just don't take my post too seriously then. I didn't take it all that seriously myself, which is why I mentioned it being nothing other than a guess.

I'll go one better and not take you too seriously.

Where on earth did you fish up Dybala to Liverpool from?

It's just his guess. Damn it, why are people taking him so literally. It's so obvious.

Ahh okay. In that case city are going to one up United by signing Messi. It’s just a guess though. Is that how this works?

Apparently. And if anyone calls you out on it, just get annoyed.

No chance. I feel like Ander loves United and would sign a contract in a heartbeat if offered one.

That’s all nice words, the fact remains that he has 2 months left on his deal and hasn’t signed/been offered a new one yet. Talk of him joining another team should not be dismissed at this stage.

What the hell would PSG want with Herrera, he's likeable enough, but he'd hopefully be just a bench player for us if he stayed anyway.

Would love to get paid to just make up complete rubbish.

It's a forum mate for footy nuts to discuss things and discuss possibilities. Why are you looking for arguements?
People going mental over make believe isn't discussing anything. As much as anyone's been linked with anyone, we've been linked with Sancho and Koulibaly. Over the last 24 hours we've been linked with Varane and Sancho, but as soon as someone links City with Saul everyone loses their minds.

Now we've got people literally making rumours up then getting annoyed over them.

Only 1 poster is losing their mind...

My dude, calm down.
Look, I know wevew come off the back of 2 losses, but this is the best me, and a lot of fans, have felt about United in 6 years.

It really isn't worth stressing yet over transfers that haven't happened.

Yeah I don't get the confidence some talk about when they are discussing players staying.

Anyway it's just Sun so let's hope it's a bluff. Terrible news if true. We'll have far too many positions to try and cover in the upcoming market which won't be actually long, only about 2 months :
