But he was ‘already in the PL’, which makes up for the first two years everyone has already written off of Koulibaly’s career. How old is VVD? He wasn't a spring chicken when pool bought him. Some of you guys are mad honestly.

Comparing VVD to Koulibaly isn't fair, because there was barely any risk with VVD. Koulibaly could easily find the PL hard going and be found out, no one knows for sure.

There was plenty of risk in signing Van Dijk.
Hmmm, I don't see the ES in the OP or in the transfer reliability chart on reddit.
On the risk scale, Koulibaly a comfortably more risky a signing, but you wouldn't think that reading the comments on here, who talk like he's a guaranteed hit and the answer to all our problems. It's as if some on here don't really watch football and see how often signings simply don't work out.
Everyone could see VVD quality, people questioned the price, but now it looks like peanuts.
Everything I said was a fact. If anything its the fact fans dont have meltdowns and are happy cheering on players like Young, Jones etc till they get new contracts.Oh what a meltdown.

United never get deals done early. The club doesn't act like a big club. And maybe if fans were more vocal about signings like other clubs Woodward will realise he is incompetent. We have been chasing Saul for 3 years. City will buy him within a month. But dont worry we have Garner coming through. What a joke. We have so many positions filled with average players yet Woodward will not get signings done early, he will wait like he always does till he signs Bale on deadline day.
I’m going to guess, 14 or 15?Everything I said was a fact. If anything its the fact fans dont have meltdowns and are happy cheering on players like Young, Jones etc till they get new contracts.

Liverpool bought a 26 year old CB, already in the PL and willing to go there since the summer before. Koullibaly will be 28 in the summer, and yet to play in a new demanding league and might need to adapt. Even that season and a half Liverpool got out of VVD counts in my point of view. Not that Koulibaly isn't a good player. the investment i a bit different and by the looks of it it will cost us more. How old is VVD? He wasn't a spring chicken when pool bought him. Meltdown on a meltdown.Everything I said was a fact. If anything its the fact fans dont have meltdowns and are happy cheering on players like Young, Jones etc till they get new contracts.

Thats just silly. He's 28 at the start of next season, by the time he's adapted to a very different league (if he ever does) he could be 29 or 30. Sanchez is 30 and is clearly in decline. Some players, those who aren't overly reliant on their pace or are able to adapt their game to cope, play on at a high level until their mid 30's, but they are few and far between.
It depends on the journalist writing the article. Robson, in this case, is reasonably decent when it comes to reliability.Hmmm, I don't see the ES in the OP or in the transfer reliability chart on reddit.
We need an established CB.As an investment an 18 year old makes a lot more sense than a 28 year old. Its potentially 15 years of service vs 5 years.
So he's the Neil Custis in a otherwise Mirror/Sun like tabloid? It depends on the journalist writing the article. Robson, in this case, is reasonably decent when it comes to reliability.
80m will be a very good deal.

Meltdown on a meltdown.
PSG will be all over him. He’s just so one of their signings. No one outside of England will pay 80m for him.
Wouldn't hate it, but I doubt he'll go straight into the eleven, or raise the average quality of the squad.
Was it not 140 million pounds/euros? I'd image that after spending a significant amount on De Jong they're trying to raise funds for more summer business (De Ligt, Jovic, etc.)€80m is a huge loss. What's the gauranteed sum they paid...think it was like €120m?

Is he a Box to box or an attacking midfielder?
I was hoping this rumour had gone away.
Why?
Good player, good age. Not too expensive. He would improve our midfield.

Not sure United as a club ,and one hopefully competing for the major honours, is going to get far this summer if we bring in slightly above average quality individuals,as we have enough of those standard of players already.
Unpopular opinion but hopefully next season the likes of Smalling,Young,Matic,Herrera and Lingard are consistent rotation players and not ones consistently in the first 11.
Dont think that will be the case though.
