Happy for Mata to leave, we need to start being ruthless it’s pretty clear he doesn’t being anything to the table anymore as his legs are simply gone you can’t afford such luxury in epl.

Dropped by a manager who can't stop making decisions nobody understands yeah. They'd give Herrera and Matic a run for their money. Easily better than Fred, Fellaini, McTominay and Pereira. And for the two of them they paid what? About what we paid for Fred alone? Also, I'd have Aubameyang over Lukaku any day of the week.
Well...overran again.

Sounds like desperation from Arsenal. Why should Inter, who have money let one of their best players leave on loan in the middle of the season with only an option, not an obligation?

Almost certainly false. Arsenal couldn't afford Suarez, now we're expected to believe they will spend €35m on Perisic who will be 30 next week. Story planted by Inter or Agent?

Ornstein is as reliable as it gets for Arsenal.

Ornstein is legit. The issue for Arsenal is they can't buy anyone in January so they're trying to go for loans. If the loan fee for Perisic is lower than it was for Suarez they might find it doable. Also, like Adisa said an option to buy isn't compulsory.

That's the thing, under the terms of that deal, Arsenal doesn't have to pay, it's an option. No way Inter accept that.

Obligation to buy in the summer is the only thing they would accept. Loan deal now without an obligation to buy is a joke when he is a starter there, why would they do such a bad deal from their part.

Arsenal scrambling around for average players to salvage their season is entertaining to watch. Thank feck we've moved on from the likes of Perisic.

This is good question, seems a pretty ludicrous offer by Arsenal? Assumed Arsenal would have to pay in the summer or what possible incentive to agree.

Naive, but then again, they are in panic mode in the last week and try to secure loan deals. I can see with Suarez, who is a fringe player at Barca (and even there Barca want some money), but with established players, even harder. They only lose time with offers like these for Perisic in January, i would laugh if i was Inter chairman. If you dont have money, obligation to buy in summer, but loan deal + option to buy is for squad players that teams want to get rid off, not starters usually.

Isnt the issue that they cant afford to spend untill the summer. So a loan with option to buy in the summer makes sense no?

I just don't understand. They have a very good attack. They need proper defenders more than anything else.
They lack proper wide players. Aubameyang, Lacazette prefer to play as striker. Mkhitaryan, Ozil etc don't provide width either. They had been linked with Cengiz Under while Mislintat was there, but that is probably out of the window now.

The only players that offer width are Iwobi and Kolasinac.

Aubameyang does like to sit extremely wide before drifting in too. They don't have any half decent defenders that can stay fit for a prolonged period. None are fit now. Their first choice right back is likely out for the season on top.

If you have Iwobi Lacazette Aubameyang Ozil and Mkhitaryan to choose from (plus Ramsey for the rest of this season), and you still choose to ignore the fact that your entire defence is pretty much out.. Its just stupid.

Maybe they are looking for defenders as well?

According to Skysports West Ham will pay Maxi Gómez clause,50m€

Unless this dude is pretty spectacular, he might live to regret this decision. Although even if he doesn't make it in Bayern, I doubt he will have a hard time finding another club to take him afterwards.

Manchester United had a bid for Nikola Milenkovic rejected last summer according to Fiorentina's chief executive.

United were keen on recruiting a new central defender throughout the summer window but never secured a deal, much to the disappointment of former manager Jose Mourinho .

Milenkovic is one player who was of interest at the time and now it has emerged that the club reportedly made an approach to sign him from Fiorentina.

The Italian club's chief executive Pantaleo Corvino confirmed United's former interest in the player, suggesting he was one of a number of Fiorentina players targeted for moves last summer.

"We rejected great offers from Lyon for [Jordan] Veretout, from Marseille for [Giovani] Simeone and from Manchester United for Nikola Milenkovic," Corvino told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Wow I can't believe that Inter chose to loan Soares for €1m when we only wanted six times that amount for Darmian.

I wonder if there's a link between our unrealistic demands for a bad player and the fact we find him impossible to shift every single transfer window.
