Can't wait to get rid of McTominay. Cleaning out the stench left from former manager.

I think its not very smart to loan Scott without buying someone there. Fellaini cant play Ole style so we have only Fred and Pereira as backups.

Real thing or wishful thinking? (Kieran Maguire is a lecturer in football finance at Uni of Liverpool.)

Yeah, looks a bit like nonsense, but then on the other hand if you look for some reasoning I think you can find.
Ideally we are looking to hire a DoF and probably assume the next next two people (DoF and manager) are the right ones, so we should provide them with sufficient funds.
If we buy in all positions we need (CB, RW, RB, CM, LB) that means the installments within the next 2-3 years will triple. Might as well sell Jones, Rojo, Fellaini, let Valencia go and try to cover the current money we owe and draw a blank sheet.

Gotta give it to Chelsea. They are specialist in moving out unwanted people. Wish we learn from them
Exactly....lets sell them lukaku. 50 + kante. Sari doesnt like kante so its a win win for both teams. I dont actually agree with selling lukaku but if the club dont want him we should sell when the opportunity is there instead of our usual give them 2/3 seasons then sell for a bag of monkey nuts.

We won't sell lukaku until we have a permanent manager and he sees whether he fits into his playing style.

We might sell the squad type players but don't see a big name going till then unless someone pushes for a move.

Already have griezmann, costa and now him as well, how exactly they are planning to play all of them .
Costa's currently injured and he's 31 now. Besides, they play with two up top so four options is fine.

Always thought Higuian would excel in England. A bit late for the move though, he might struggle with the pace of the league.

Does anyone know anything about the guy?
Very attacking right back, really likes to bomb forward and scored some bullet headers from set pieces as well.

But he's been under fire for his defensive displays and lucky not to receive his marching once or twice.

Would be a perfect fit for Arsenal.

Watched part of the Sporting v Porto game last week. He was solid from what I saw, but obviously less than 1 game is nowhere near enough to judge someone. Here's what I noticed though. Played as (right-footed) LCB which is what we need. Big, strong, good in the air, pretty good on the ball for a CB (better than Smalling for sure) but he's only 20 so might lack a little focus.

Why would there be so much interest in an average striker?
I guess both teams need a striker who’s proven in Spain to a decent level, without the need of them being the out-and-out goal scorer. Barcelona have Messi and Suarez, Atletico have Griezmann (maybe less-so for Atletico)

The move back to Spain could revitalise him. Stuani and Aspas are recent examples.
