Did I say its enough? You are labelling Manolas as an Arsenal Tier signing while we have three idiots playing for us. We are in no position to be picky. We need as much quality as we can get. Manolas has been consistent for a long time.

We are in a position to be picky. Just because we have problems does not mean we should just sign anyone.

Is Tuttosport reliable? They claim Bayern, PSG and City have made offers for Dybala. They claim juve will not let him go in january but could be open to letting him go in the summer for £90m.
No - for a profit of £90m. They bought him for £28m

So why did he shave his head not long after getting it done then?
So of every club he played for and loved, he never dyed his hair their colours but did for Utd? Right at the time he was off to join the Spanish camp (who the red symbolised)

I get that he did it at the time of the rumours, but it was for the spanish squad.

We spent upwards of €100 millions for two 16 year old brazilians

Yes that was my point, you seemed to be focusing on young prospects or younger players rather than established stars. Was wondering if that was just an intended stragtegy or the crazy prices of players has influenced that.

So before you could get a galactico for 50-70m now thats more like 150+ wondering if that has influenced the strategy of going after younger talents with resale value.

Any manager would be excited to have Koulibaly manning the defence - this would be a club signing, Ole would love having him back there too.

Make it happen, for god's sake.

I've been thinking about it from that perspective since Ole arrived and I think you're right, someone like Koulibaly is a no-brainer no matter who the manager is.

But, from the player's perspective, why would they come here having no idea who his manager will be come the summer? Why would someone come here in January with the future that up in the open?

Because we're Manchester United. That really ought to be enough. We're hardly going to employ another Moyes, LVG or Jose type manager. I suspect they know who the manager will likely be and could easily indicate that to Koulibaly before he signs

If there's a chance of it happening then we must go for it. Would be a huge step in the right direction. We wouldn't be going into games worried about a classic Phil Jones error/our shaky defence in general. If he came in and played at his level, top 4 would be very achievable and he wouldn't be cup tied in CL.

De Laurentis said there is no way Koulibaily leaves in january. Put the kleenex on hold lads.

Would absolutely love to see Kalidou Koulibaly sign. The sort of defender that we are desperately crying out for.

Dybala for 90m.
I highly doubt he would be that cheap.
If that's the case and we don't go for/get him and somehow City get him.

I quit.
