If he was to leave PSG, I think he’d be Real Madrid bound.

Would obviously love to see him at Man Utd!

A front three of Martial-Rashford-Mbappe would be absolutely sexy!

I suppose it depends on the player, but I believe Pep met with him a year or so ago. If he came available I recon they would move heaven and earth to get him.

I fear he will go to City also, thought If he came avaiable i would belive any club would move heaven and earth to get him.

If Madrid kept Ronaldo and sold Bale I'd say he was nailed on to go there. However, doing it the other way around I see him as more likely to join City when they bid what no one else can match.

I believe the article stated that Chelsea is only offering him a 1-year contract due to his age. If true, I could definitely understand if he wants a little more security than that.

Also, I think that's generally a smart policy for Chelsea, but luiz is only going to be 32 in April, which isn't that old for a cb. From what I've seen, he hasn't showed his age, either. Hes just never been a consistent defender.
Chelsea's general policy is to offer only +1 year contracts for players 30+. It's one of the reasons why Matic reportedly left. Luiz may be inconsistent as a defender but losing him on a free transfer is still poor business by Chelsea.

Here is the original tweet saying that United offered 60m euros for Douglas Costa (from AS):

It says in the article that the source is close to negotiations, so it appears to be a different source to the article from Rai Sport last week. (I could be wrong though as the translations weren't clear).

Why would we offer €60m for a playerJuventus paid €40m for and for one that can't make their team, has scored only one goal this season and is poor defensively?

Because, due to our terrible summer transfer strategy or lack of, we are desperate as all hell and the entire football world knows it.
I agree, I wouldn't pay that fee for Costa. But the club might.

Umm it's utd tax maybe?

Anyways I don't think we will be paying any absurd price. Barring Lukaku I think all the fees were justified to some extent at that time.

He was injured, that is why he has not been a regular starter this season, yet. I also don’t see Juve selling in January. They need him.

Costa doesn't really fit what Juve are trying to build. With Ronaldo as the striker they need players in and around him . Dybala should be in his element right now if they play as I expect with a 4312 type formation.

That would make me... well I won’t say it, but it’s one hell of a team, especially with Pogba right behind.

The ridiculous wages we pay and his inability to shift players we don’t need?

Given that the club has had a high turnover rate of playing staff in the last 5 years- Under Van Gaal we shifted 14 players out alone - and our wage to turnover ratio remains the lowest in the league; it would seem to indicate the fallacy of your argument.
