Agree. Issue with him though is he’s probably another year at Dortmund away from being able to come in and really lead us, but if we can get him in we have to take the chance.

Always like to see us get British players if they are genuinely world class or that kind of potential. Sancho can become as good as Hazard I think.

de Jong is a top talent but imo de Ligt is a level above in terms of potential. He already looks the complete package at 19.

I doubt they will go for both, since Busquets and Rakitic can still go on for some time. They need to offload some, they are completely bloated. Vidal, Rafinha and Denis Suarez have no real future IMO. And then they still have Busquets, Rakitic, Alena, Arthur and Rabiot/De Jong. I wouldnt be surprised if they buy De Jong in 2020, rather than this summer, but who knows. Him and De Ligt get linked to Barca on a weekly basis.

They can still play for a while. Busquets signed a contract extension until 2023 not long ago. They'd need to offload the likes of Vidal, and Alena and Arthur are pretty highly rated too. Roberto has played in midfield a few times as well but seems like he's mostly used at right back.

Rakitic and Busquets will be starters for a while, Alena will probably be fine with a squad role while Arthur, Rabiot and De Jong would all be looking at wanting regular football.

You are not alone in thinking that which is exactly why we should be in for him no matter the price. I'm getting tired of watching all the other elite clubs in europe stealing these talents from right under our noses while we go for players like Sanchez who are past their best. I have always said that spending insane amounts is fine but only if you spend it on the right profiles. If only the people in charge of transfer dealings at the club had this same mindset then things would look so different at this club.

I dont think anyone could afford him outright and to be honest if I were PSG I would ship Neymar out instead.

Neymar would be looking for a move soon enough anyway, if he isnt already, so to lose both would be stupid

Definately, Costa only been consistantly good for one season, and a lot of that was from the bench. Great pace and talent but little consistency or end product, bit of a Nani, also in that he would be better on the other flank (left) than the right, he is 28 also and his best asset is pace, pointless signing if you ask me, I would rather play Lingard with Mata as back up until the end of the season and then look again, of course Sancho being the right age, nationality and talent would be the main target

I'd say club needs to look at signing players who are affordable and not follow the latest fanboy whims. Sancho is a very good young player, but not attainable for the next 2 seasons at least I'd say.

They said Mbappe wasn't available either. He is the next best thing. £90m would not bankrupt United. We spent the same amount just this summer! Also, Dortmund have confirmed City have no buy back option for Sancho.
 
"Proven winning record" is why we hired the last two failed managers. Nothing about how they fit the club's ethos.
I'm hopeful this is click bait bollocks.
