Seen very little of Neves but he's looked class everytime and doesn't play like his age. Also, someone who is mentally assured in his decision making and leadership in midfield is exactly what we need in that are even if he may be a bit young.

Bayern can feck off. Clearly they are struggling to offload him so are inventing stories of made-up bids. No man in his right mind would offer anything close to 50 million for this City reject.

City were morons to let him go after one season given the seasons he had at Bayern. He's one of the best CB's during his era, to class him as a 'City reject' is pure nonsense, says more about City than him.

Bayern are taking the piss

I think people have a pretty wrong idea around here about this whole thing. It wasn't and isn't Bayern pushing for a transfer, it's Boateng and he has been talking about it since last year. Bayern's stance has always been pretty much this:"Okay Boateng, you annoyed us enough with your requests and comments, especially considering your performances and injuries in the last two years so we might consider to let you go if you find someone who can pay a sensible fee for you".
Bayern thinks 50m Euro isn't too much to ask considering current prices (look what PSG paid for a newbie like Kehrer), you might disagree with that but it's not like Bayern ever wanted to force out Boateng or offload him, Kovac actually WANTS him to stay and there is a reason why he started in our first league game.

Do you have any replacement for him or will it be a youth player? Seems a bit odd to let him go at this stage with no replacement with Alaba having a few injury problems in the past season or so.
I wonder about that myself. Rafinha has played a few matches at left back last season and did quite well (better than Bernat, I'd say) but he's not getting younger either, and he's already Kimmich's backup. We are now very short on fullbacks.

That's great, hopefully he confirms the promises.

Interested to see how he does for Lyon, he didn't seem to be mentioned as much last season as the one before, and he'll be stepping straight into the striker role vacated by Mariano. Kinda surprised Dortmund didn't move for him as they haven't replaced Aubameyang.

They have loaned Alcacer from Barca.

He has completely fallen off the face of the Earth at real.

Was amongst the top full backs around at one time.

Monaco building a FIFA career mode dream team.

Good signing IMO. Even Batshuayi scored goals at Dortmund, and Alcacer is a much better player.

Mariano Diaz is back at Real.

Seems pointless, numbers have been good in Ligue One, but it's Ligue One... didn't work at Real, and not a particularly good player.

Castilla play in the third level of Spanish football. He'd be better off playing in the top flight for a lower team.

That would be an utter waste of Vinicius Junior's early career. He's too good for that level of football at 18.

Juan Bernat with a last minute transfer to PSG.

Apparently only £13.5m according to the Beeb. Would have been a decent signing for United maybe at that price as another natural LB option.

He's been left out of the squad for today's game against Leganes too. Can't see him playing in the league before the next transfer window in which case it would have made more sense to loan him out than play third division football for five or so months.
