Yeah because Jose knows he can sneak these deals past the board who actually have to sign this off and finance it without them noticing.
anyone who believes this shite is a moron
For some reason I’m picturing Mourinho meeting Roman down some dodgy backstreet in London with Martial tied up in the back of a van.
Nah, he's very much not shite. But he's shite.

It says Ed is offering Martial a deal while Jose doesn't want the player. Not vice versa. And of course, probably suggested a swap deal for Willian or Toby to Ed, that's what the article probably means.
Secondly, the source is Bouhafsi who is pretty much the GOAT for news on all French league and French players. He even has a better record than di Marzio, can't remember when he called something that didn't happen. And he's been the one sourcing quotes from Martial's agent as well, pretty close to the guy.
This news is legitimate in the sense that it comes from Martial's camp. Whether Martial and his agent are speaking the truth or embellishing it is another matter.
Firstly no it says Jose was trying to broker a deal as if he could get it done without Ed's or the board's say so...
"José Mourinho, against Ed Woodward's wishes, tried to broker a deal with Chelsea for Willian, with Anthony Martial in exchange & a deal with Tottenham for Toby Alderweireld, with the Frenchman also going the other way, both in vain (RMC) "
So your opinion fell at the first hurdle. The rest is speculation.
Like I said, the way its' phrased can have many implications. The most logical meaning is that Jose via Ed inquired Chelsea for Willian and Chelsea demanded Martial in exchange. Jose recommended Ed to go ahead with this deal and Ed refused. Or, Jose himself suggested the Martial swap for Willian or Toby and Ed refused. So, "tried to broker a deal against Ed's wishes" simply could mean a difference of opinion between Jose and Ed with respect to the proposed deal.
A peculiar reporting style does not necessarily negate the veracity of the content.
The rest isn't speculation. What I mentioned about Bouhafsi's and RMC's reliability can be verified by their history. They were also the first to break the news of Martial joining United btw, have always been close to his agent. So if you believe that news is a lie, it means they have been fed lies by Martial's agent and not that they are unreliable themselves.
This is one of the most elaborate posts I have seen to try and get away from the point that the reporter claimed the exact opposite of what you are suggesting. There is no way to interpret that any other way and is unsalvageable for your opinion as such.
You would have as much chance in convincing anyone that when a person says: "I definitely like burgers very much" while they sit there eating multiple burgers with a smile on their face, what they actually said was "They definitely did not like burgers and never ate them".
This is as black and white as the text on the page. Just move on.
I have no vested interest in defending RMC or Bouhafsi as I don't work for them. Merely pointing out that they don't get anything wrong, and that's pretty much a verifiable fact. They are the BBC of French newspapers. And there is no way anyone with a modicum of common sense would think Jose could get transfers done by going over Ed's head -- even the Daily Star won't report their usual made-up fantasies that way. Hence, the phrase needs to be understood as per the context.
But if you don't want to believe it, got no problems with it myself. Cool.
You're interpreting the tweets way too literally..This has nothing to do with whether I believe Bouhafsi or anyone else for that matter. It has to do with the fact the Tweet states the exact opposite of what you claimed after I responded to it. That is all. You are choosing to ignore the only thing I was talking about and decided to go on speculation based on something that did not exist in the first place.

His agent has thrown shade at West Ham and Palace after that tweet.
Where’s he going to then?
Might've been just agent posturing. Although this is also very likely BS.I doubt it. Didn't Bouhafsi say he wasn't going to sign it?

Article was quite contradictory it stated United has offered a huge new deal which is still being negotiated but Martial still wants to leave why would Martial negotiate if he is adamant to leave he could simply ask his agent not to engage .
