They're having opinions just like anyone. Only people creating unrest are Jose, Ed and some players and their scummy agents.

They're club legends who are constantly being negative of the club and its players. Of course that creates unrest. You're naive if you think otherwise. At the moment, Jose is trying to keep things positive for a change. Ed is failing at his job as usual which yes creates unrest because it means ourosquad isn't good enough. And yes, some people surrounding our players are scum. But what do you expect to happen if Scholes drags Pogba through the mud again for the 100th time? I don't like the way this went down but it's only logical someone was going to fire some shots back at Scholes and co. Club legend or not, you can't keep taking shots at someone without getting hit a few times yourself.

Can the likes of Neville and Scholes please shut it? All they're doing is creating more unrest at the club. I would much prefer it if they give our players a break instead of publicly taking a pop at them every chance they get. I really don't see what their endgame is here. Do they want our players to not feel good at the club? Can't think of any other club where players get criticised by club legends as much as at United. It doesn't help the club at all. It just creates an even more negative atmosphere.

Agree with this. Everyone is just adding fuel to the fire and it doesn't help at all. Things might not be great at the moment, but they really should give it a break and just let Jose get on with his job. If he fails, we all know what will happen, but at least let it happen without laying on more negativity. The media and opposition fans live and breath off this kind of thing and it is giving them all the content they could ever want for unnecessary clicks.

"Now it transpires United did actually throw their hat into the ring and made an enquiry for Van Dijk.
They wanted to know the terms of his deal last December but, as is typical of that club now, the question was asked on the day Van Dijk was undergoing his medical at Anfield. By then it was too far late. United's loss is most definitely Liverpool's gain."

So it's not a proper coup for Liverpool unless United (that club ) tried (and failed) to sign the player!

LFC fans: "tell me more, tell me more, tell me he snubbed them "

Another Ed Woodward special or Liverpool spreading nonsense?

Neither would be particularly surprising.

Woody is fast becoming the laughing stock of the transfer market. If this is true of course but its one of a series of failures recently.

He was too busy wrapping up Alexis Sanchez lol. I’m sure we were probably just being nosey if true. Nothing wrong with that.

feck me, Liverpool, like City, are so small time it's ridiculous.

Woodward special it is, then.

So he asked about the numbers? And so? Rumours going around he was about to be signed for a world record fee, Im not surprised he asked.
If Jose wanted VVD we would have been in for him the summer we signed Lindelof, this is nothing more than shit stirring. The headline itself is saying VVD is everything Jose wanted in a CB. Missing out that Jose obviously wasn't really interested in the player

"City cannot sign a goalkeeper or take one on loan until January. They could considering applying for special dispensation to sign an understudy, but it is unlikely to be granted. Despite the transfer window being closed, clubs can still sign out-of-contract players.
Among the goalkeepers available are Diego Cavalieri, formerly of Liverpool and Crystal Palace, and Stuart Taylor, who spent three years with City before leaving in 2012."

Weird thing to say, but whatever. I don't mind his wish to play somewhere else as long as he remains professional and gives his best on the pitch.
He may have underwhelmed a bit on the big stage in the last few years, but it never seemed to be a problem of attitude.
