If Pogba wanted to leave he should have made it clear at the start of the window. Even if he's unhappy he's going to have to tough it now until at least January since there's simply no time to replace someone of his caliber. And who knows how the season will go by then.

What attitude? He was back at Carrington smiling and laughing with his teammates just yesterday

You guys really need to stop taking every single rumor as gospel and running with narratives in your head

Pogba situation is nothing but a contract push.
Barca can't afford him now unless they swap Rakitic and Dembele then I will see United being interested.
Pogba just won the most prestigious trophy in all of football , he is still playing I .the champions league with a team I believe is good enough to make a push under the right coaching.
Lastly until Messi retires Barca won't be able to offer Pogba any money we can't match. Plus for his branding sake ..Pogba would be smart enough to know United is the way for now until we really fall of the wagon ( No champions league football

For the heck of it, what’s the status of Dembele? Is he back from injury? Has he played this preseason? What’s his prognosis? That aside, we all saw what Rakitic can do, he had a fantastic World Cup IMHO. While 30 years of age, he still has plenty in the tank.

Wouldn’t touch Dembele personally. Remember the fuss he kicked up when he was at Dortmund? Went AWOL to force his move. He’d come and half ass it and the moment Real Madrid cane sniffing he’d be pushing for a move.

Who was that prick journalist whom 3 days ago said Toby would be signed within the next 48 hours? Could you please ban that lying rat?

I'd sell Pogba if barca offered something really huge or one of their useful players plus cash but don't see that happening.

Not sure how will he go under Jose this season if he doesn't want to be here fully.

This is just pure noise from Raiola, preparing the way for a pay raise for his client. I say we let him show us what he can do when motivated, then give him a bump on his pay.
Pogba is one of those players we cannot allow to leave.

So why not just negotiate for a pay rise, instead of all this childish bullshit?

New signings or not, roll on the new season already. Time for some proper football!!

Never expected that a post-Gaitan transfer window could be so boring. :boring:

Funny thing is today, we are still going to read tweets that say something like,
- United 'considering' signing French winger
- United 'pondering' over a 35,000,000 dollars bid
- United 'weighing' transfer options
- United 'scouting' Italian center back
- United 'mulling' over 'preparing' a bid

With 24 hours or so left for the window to close!
Anyone still using words like scouting, pondering, weighing, considering etc should be banned.

These journalists sometimes really are dumb, where is the proof? FFS, my grandma can make up better stories than that abomination.
Barca-aligned media are the absolute worst. The degree of blatant lying and overall scuminess can't even be matched in the English press.

RE Pogba- no smoke without fire Mino is whoring him out around Europe - end of day whether its for his own personal benefit or Pogba wants out (mixture of 2 i imagine) it is worrying that after all the effort made to sign him and the amount of time Jose has spent defending him over the last two years from critics that it has come to this, something must be seriously up in their relationship from Pogba's point of view- it reeks of Rooney the first time he wanted to leave Utd- and in all honesty i dont think he was the same again for Utd- however much i hate to say this, and i don't think it will happen now in this window- i think it is better if we cut ties , not only with Pogba but with Mino.

As for Utd signing anyone this window- i am not expecting anything to be done. I actually don't think we will do much worse than last year- i just dont expect a big improvement unless all the stars align and those who had great world cups keep up with their form at Utd (Pogba included).

Jose will not be here next year- this is the perfect chance to appoint a DOF and a manager willing to to work alongside one.

Won't happen though and we will get a yes man .

Or Pogba will just return to Carrington and silenced all the lies...all the stupid journalists can retire in shame.

Not bad at all for Chelsea if all of that works out. Keeping Hazard, getting the manager they wanted and signing Jorginho, Kovacic and a new keeper who wants to play for them wouldn't be a bad summer. Plus getting rid of Bakayoko is always a cause for celebration.

I'd agree. Better than ours anyway.

I agree with you in a sense that he should-he arrived back Monday did he not though?- now normally he is filming all the dicking around in changing rooms etc because he is happy- not a single thing utd wise on any of his SM accounts since then- so either he has heeded Mourinho's advice and realised he needs to be fully concerntrated on job in hand (which i doubt as he was dicking around on SM for France at world cup) or he just does not want anything about Utd on his SM channels as in his head he has cut ties. Ideally he would come out on MUTV and do an interview- or post something denying the claims- the fact he has not yet- and he will be aware of all this going on - tells me one thing and one thing only.

Just over 24 hours to go. About to go to sleep so hopefully wake up to something concrete.

Basing anything on social media and if he's posted something there is silly. Saying all that it's disappointing he wants to leave already if he indeed wants it.

I think this is a good window for Chelski if things play out as they now might. They could challenge, particularly as Sarri may not experience pressure to deliver in his first season.

Or Maybe Hirst hopes their relationship hits rock bottom. The alternative that Pogba and Jose could both act professionally with the player going on to have a good season and the two rebuilding their relationship, which is equally possible, doesn't suit the narrative, does it?

20 years ago i would agree with you , but kids nowadays live their lives through social media- and although it may not be a true depiction of their mood it's not far off- he lives through instagram - i may be bonkers in this assumption and i can see the arguments against what i am saying , but even just something about him and Lukaku, Lingard, Rashford etc - non of that- the only thing we have seen is through Bailly posting a clip of the two together. Anyway we are in a twitter thread so debating about social media seems ironic.

Why did clubs vote to close our window early ffs we all knew someone would end up with their player being tapped up after the window for signing a replacement has closed, looks like it will be us with Pogba

that’s not that far fetched actually. we. Everton seen quite bullish in the transfer market and they being willing to pay wages we don’t consider a wise investment is not that crazy. Especially when we are not even that weak at CB

I think it is. If we were in a race with Everton and we really wanted Mina, Everton wouldn’t have a chance. We’d just match their offer.
