I wonder if Chris Wheeler has ever written anything positive about United.
Why are Spurs so intent on signing Grealish? Unless he plays deeper in midfield I'm not seeing a place for him. Does he not play in the #10 position where Eriksen plays?
Isn't it four years?Barcelona talking to him without permission then?
And nobody cares what was ‘agreed’ as there is the small matter of a 3 year contract remaining, so feck off.
Wasn't being serious.More like he realised he was 3rd choice and we are about to sign toby
Unless they dangle 200m or one of their actual useful players plus a pile of cash it seems they are not desperate to sign him.
lol 2nd CB. Why do these journos not go for some slightly believable BS at least.
It will take a lot more than £40m at this stage especially now we seemingly have no alternative. Wouldn't Spurs need a replacement in as well?
Not really he didn’t feature much last season for them. They need to be realistic, around £40m is a fair price. It will take a lot more than £40m at this stage especially now we seemingly have no alternative. Wouldn't Spurs need a replacement in as well?
That’s not an insanely high price considering the state of the market.
He always seemed like a poor mans Wilshere to me though.
£25m is a decent price for a backup option even for Spurs. If he proves to be good enough to start it's just a bonus. Why are Spurs so intent on signing Grealish? Unless he plays deeper in midfield I'm not seeing a place for him. Does he not play in the #10 position where Eriksen plays?
Levy trying to get himself a bargain maybe? When the rumours first started, Villa were in financial difficulties and it sounded like Levy was right in there to take advantage, but now things have changed for Villa but Spurs are still low-balling them - might just be an ego move for Levy; not sure Grealish adds much to them on the pitch as things stand. Why are Spurs so intent on signing Grealish? They prepared for that scenario from latter stage of this past season. Dier can play CB. They're trying to get a midfielder in, so no loss if Dier to play more as CB. Have been linked to few.It will take a lot more than £40m at this stage especially now we seemingly have no alternative. Wouldn't Spurs need a replacement in as well?
"De Jong yes. Pogba no. Barça will try again to sign the young midfielder for 50m€"
Oh my, what an absolute shambles this transfer window has been, we have struggled to get players by sheer incompetence of the board and players not wanting to join because of Jose playing style and treatment of players, can’t say I blame them. This season is going to get messy and I’d truly be surprised if Jose is still the manager come Christmas

Barcelona has not used the Masía properly for some time. Competition for Puig and Aleñá too, who should make a small jump forward this year.dont see why Barca need another midfielder when Puig has done so well in preseason.
I think Barca have moved away from using their youth these days.dont see why Barca need another midfielder when Puig has done so well in preseason.

Puig is special. they have every reason to encourage his development rather than take up the option of buying de jong IMO.I think Barca have moved away from using their youth these days.
More titles, more European cups, more impressive roster of players past and present.
Sure they are.
