So you're conveniently ignoring the second part of what he said? Why would it be kept a secret?
Because we want everyone else to think we're in turmoil and the walls are facing down. Siege mentalitywhite text

Mourinho has a secret? Jose's secret ? Is he going to start his own lingerie brand or something?
Signing someone isn't a secret for football clubs.

Alex sandro will renew his contract with Juve. It announced realiable sources like Goal Italia and most realible journalist of GdS. Juventus didn't even consider any offer for Alex sandro, and it have made him one of untouchable players for this summer, like costa, caldara or dybala.

I know they have denied it but if a good enough offer comes in for Dembele in the final few days of the market I think Barca accept, may even be a loan deal.

The meltdown here when Utd announce love honey as their official dildo partner would be glorious.

The reason they want a new RW is because Dembele is young, inexperienced and inconsistent. He's finding it difficult to adjust to the league so they need someone to help him settle by taking the pressure off his shoulder
At least that's what I think is the reason they want a new RW. Signing Malcom is not the solution to any of those problems.

Crazy as those footballer prices are getting, I’ve yet to hear of a team spend +50m for merely a squad player. We’ll see.

The other weird thing is that 4-4-2 diamond seems to suit Messi, Suarez and Coutinho better as system than 4-3-3. And therefore I’d argue they need a ball winner more to play Busquets-Rakitic-NewGuy-Coutinho and replace the loss of Paulinho.

I’m not really sure what Barca are trying to do now. If they have two RWs in Dembele and Malcom means they’ll try to play 4-4-2 flat with Coutinho on the left? I guess?

They’re not gonna shove Messi on the wing and they still need a striker of Suarez’s calibre for Messi to play off

Ibra is coming back - similar to what Donovan used to do with Everton

I just think the optics of you guys selling a 22 year old with a sky high ceiling for a soon to be 30 year old inconsistent Willian will prevent it from happening. Surely the majority of your fanbase wouldn't be happy?

I think the upside for us is far greater than it would be for United.

Of course it is. However not in Mourinho’s mind.

I don't think Zlatan know anything unless it's a player from Raiola clients which is unlikely.

Barca won't part with him. Dembele is untransferable for many reasons: the trouble it took buying him from Dortmund, his immense potential shown at Dortmund and for Barca when he wasn't injured, his injury during his debut season for Barca, his long term impact when he has fully acclimated to Barca, Barca being his dream club (stated by himself and shown by his actions.. remember how much trouble he gave Dortmund because Barca was the only club in his mind).

Bartomeu himself said: "He [Dembele] is still very young, a bet for the future, not for immediate performances. We have to give him time. If he didn't play one game, he will play in others. We have high hopes for him at the club".

also..

"Dembele is a very young player, a very talented player that we are, of course, expecting from him a lot. He’s been demonstrating during the season that he’s a good young player for us. But, of course, next season will be different. It’s not easy to play in Barcelona the first year because the model of football is quite different from the rest. But after one year I’m sure we are going to see Dembele and Coutinho at a very high level."

Sure, if United are stupid enough to bid 200 M for him, then Barca would probably reconsider, but otherwise there is no chance. Even with Malcom. Having Malcom and Dembele gives Barca an impressive tactical flexibility.
Dembele plays on both the right and left, which means Malcom will get plenty of opportunities with rotations. When Malcom is RW, Dembele moves to LW where he thrives and Coutinho moves from LW to AM/CM.
Make no mistake, they will both get ample time on the pitch in the biggest competitions playing with and against the absolute best players. Would he have played more at Roma. Yes. But not that much more. Ünder is their golden boy at RW. But I digress. Again, unless you pay an Mbappe fee, Dembele won't be sold.

The video is on the frigging Man Utd website. I'm sure he's well aware what he's talking about, could be anything though.

What's is the importance of it being on official site or not ?

A former player visiting the team camp, having a joke with a manager and gives a good quote about the club. Surely the official website will report it. Whether he knows something or not, that's not an evidence.

The timing is crucial, all the media stories about a disastrous window and they are getting the message out via Zlatan that there is something in the pipeline

I hope this is right, but better to not get hopes up Imo.

No it could equally just be a plant to get something positive out in the news even though there's nothing to it.

I doubt we would make a fuss on social media like that for absolutely nothing. Our commercial side of the business knows what it’s doing.

Does this explain why we've looked so toothless so far this pre-season? Don't want other teams to know we can actually attack.

I think you've nailed it.
Score less than 1 goal a game in pre-season, then when the season starts, LCFC will be wallopped into oblivion!!!
Here's hoping. :D

Quite strange that the official account posted the tweet about Zlatan and the secret.

Perhaps Ibra is going to return to us as a coach?
I doubt he will return as a player, as he really is moving into retirement (as a player).
Remember, Jose is still putting together a backroom staff.
Our attack needs work. Who better to coach than the Zlatan?

If the Aaron Ramsey situation taught us anything. Joking aside I doubt they'd post that if nothing was happening.

I'm really disappointed in Utd with this 'don't want to sell to rivals' policy. I'm not sure I have right words in English to describe this but it's something like small town syndrome/mentality (nothing to do with city of Manchester just in general state of mind of people in Utd board).
We sold to Utd Mata, Matic, indirectly Lukaku and Mourinho. Could sell you Willian without any problem. Arsenal gave you Sanchez. Also a lot of examples in PL with selling to rivals from other clubs. Giroud, Cole, Sturridge, Nasri, Torres, Sterling, Ox etc...

Looks like only United have problem with this and it's kinda hypocrite.
P.S. i dont really want Martial to Chelsea with all better players available (Beiley, Lozano, Fekir, Pulisic)...
If your feelings are hurt then you can always take Darmian off our books...

Kroos is washed. Thiago isn't happening. Laughable stuff.
