Impressive to go from Everton to Barcelona in the space of a week or so.

Im not sure how much game time he will be able to get there though.

Should give us a clear run at Willian now if we can convince Chelsea to sell.

Malcom to be the next Afellay after deciding playing cup games and being a sub at Barca over Roma.

He honestly wouldn’t even have known who Mbappe was until the World Cup. Despite being a big United fan he’s well out of touch with everything else. That’s what was so weird about it. Complete garbage no doubt but we’re running low on here.

Are you even sure you heard your REAL dad or was it a Matrix experience? A dystopian future or simulated reality kind of BS stuff?

Do you think Jose got the idea of Mbappe from our Martial plus cash thread?

So on one hand you have United/Mou who are very interested in Willian. On the other hand we have Chelsea who are interested in Martial but United apparently insist that they won't sell within the PL to a rival.

Strange if they think we'd sell one of our better players to them while they'd refuse to reciprocate. We have after all sold you guys two of our best players in recent seasons. Mou himself said that he's had no issue doing so in the past.

Not that strange then. The reason I think it won’t happen is that Hazard is off so no way would they also get rid of William.

Mourinho obviously doesn't - it’s the board.

It sounds as if Mourinho is happy to sell Martial, so long as he gets his replacement winger.

The board are reluctant to sell and want to keep Martial here by triggering the +12 month extension. Should he really want the move, the board will allow with the caveat of a large fee and rejecting domestic offers.

At least, that’s what reports say.

Personally, I still think it will happen and Jose will have its own way as the board are the ones holding this deal back for now.

We haven't even been remotely linked to Dembele. Why would Jose want another young, inconssitent, French winger? He'll break the bank for Willian or nothing at all.

Put your seatbelts on lads here comes Dembele!!

I reckon Dembele is for now unsellable, because Barca will have to accept a massive loss on him. They paid 105m rising to 145m based on add-ons, after he had one good season for none other than Dortmund. They got ripped off by BVB because they wanted a marquee signing to appease the fans after the loss of Neymar and the failure to land Coutinho.

I don't know how much they have paid thus far, but they'd be hard pressed to get more than ~65m for a player who will be seen to have failed in his first big jump after a lot of hype. He's in the same boat as Martial, a player with a lot of talent but also considerable doubt hanging over him which means the club's valuation is very unlikely to match the suitors'. At least United are certain to get their money back and then some, but same can't be said for Dembele.

Maybe not in the same boat but separate boats crossing each other's paths! Swap deal and some cash perhaps :D

I just think the optics of you guys selling a 22 year old with a sky high ceiling for a soon to be 30 year old inconsistent Willian will prevent it from happening. Surely the majority of your fanbase wouldn't be happy?

I think the upside for us is far greater than it would be for United.

What about the Vidal one.

I can't remember the Ronaldinho one, I could imagine it was chaos.
No the Sanches one came out of no where, we were linked for days and then boom, in a matter of few hours, it was all over.
Similarly the Bernado Silva transfer.
Vidal didn't go to another club, he just decided to stay.

I don't even know what would happen if a player like Ronaldinho snubs us now, the cafe will have to be renamed to Blue Cafe with free anti depressant prescription for all members :D

Willian and Hazard are best pals. We are trying to make Eden happy, I don't see any other reason for keeping Willian.

Maybe that guy on Reddit who was claiming Kohler was about to announce Griezman to United has an account here?

Because they want a right winger and Willian is overpriced.
The reason they want a new RW is because Dembele is young, inexperienced and inconsistent. He's finding it difficult to adjust to the league so they need someone to help him settle by taking the pressure off his shoulder
At least that's what I think is the reason they want a new RW. Signing Malcom is not the solution to any of those problems.
