When I wanted transfer news from about 48 hours ago, this isn't what I envisaged.
Pavel Nedved.I made peace with this long ago. Raiola clients never last long at one club.
Heard that scout has left due to a massive fight on tour where Mourinho got drunk after a training session and asked Ribalta to find him a 'tricky pacey fecking winger' and he just pointed at Martial.
No disrespect but maybe you don't know much about Juve owners?
David McDonnell: "Anthony Martial will not be allowed to join Chelsea or Tottenham – even if they are prepared to pay in excess of £70million for him."

Because we're excellent at buying aren't we. Lots of success stories in our transfer history over the last 6 years.I made peace with this long ago. Raiola clients never last long at one club. Clear that Raiola is using his minor disagreement with Jose to persuade him in moving to another club.
He's world class when he's arsed, but if we sell him for a good fee, we can replace him with a couple of midfielders in the mold of Savic or Keita if we look hard enough and exhibit a willingness to buy. Don't expect he will be sold this season though.
Martial is not going to show anything in our system. The board are fecking up big time. If they were not going to back Mourinho they should have just sacked him. In a years time Martial will be worth even less. We are going to lose both Mourinho and Martial at this rate.
This is why FFP came into place... If this is how it worked then PSG and Shitty could buy every player in the world
True, but you can't exceed 100 million euros between expenses and income no?
Juve still have to sell people like Higuain, Rugani (if the rumours are true they could get around 100 from these two) and others so I wouldn't rule it out completely yet.
I'm a big fan of Martial but agreed. If his heart isn't in it when he has a big chance to cement his place in the opening games of the season then there isn't much point keeping him around. The board did not have a problem with negotiating for Perisic and sanctioning the Sanchez move, but now they want to preserve Martial when the player himself wants to leave? What a joke.
If Martial stays I feel it will end very badly, in the short term anyway.
Foresight. This was discussed before the decision on closing the transfer window early idea was made official. Quite many saw it as bad idea from the get go. Why further shooting oneself in the foot when the PL already paying transfer tax in most case?I think people need to realise that this summer has been frustrating for everyone so far.
Liverpool have been the most active, but looking at it realistically they had already signed Keita last summer, there was no real competition for Fabinho, they paid through the roof to get a GK, and Shaqiri had a release clause.
Most of Luckhurt's article sounds like pure speculation. He's right about one thing though; the world cup has tripped everyone up, and it's compounded in the EPL because they decided to shorten the transfer window. Quite stupidly in hind sight.
City will benefit the most from this because they just went out and paid whatever was necessary last year. Any new addition, like Mahrez, is just the cherry on top.
Jose needs to get a lot more out of what he already has to even stand a chance this season.

Their legs aren't going to fall off all of a sudden, both are far from the required standard but will do the job as the did last season. Plus we have youngsters in Dalot/Shaw still.
Smalling has put his injury troubles behind him, there is no established partnership as of now but there is an opportunity for one of Bailly, Lindelof, Jones and Rojo to form one. Far from ideal but not exactly the worst situation given we have options.
Bollocks,
None of us have the slightest clue as to what he did in the past year, and in case you missed it he got a promotion and a better wage packet at Zenit.
Again just rumors, none of the reputed journos have spoken anything about it. Looking at Simon Stone/Di Marzio.
Not a surprise, he was angling to leave last summer too. He doesn't have the stomach to fight for his place. A much inferior player in Young was able to bench Di Maria, Depay, Blind and Shaw. Mainly because he actually tried.
Every other side is in the same boat, plus there are still 4 pre-season games to go.
Yes, you did. It's very easy to give things a twist to portray a different opinion like I just did.
As always, the reality is somewhere in the middle. Things aren't ideal going into the season but it's hardly as horrific like many of you are portraying.
What brings you to that conclusion? Now this here. This is total BS.

Seems like a reasonable reason why he chose to leave though ?

It's hardly a stretch though is it.It's the easiest thing to come up with after such a thing happens? No one is going to verify this and to top it off, MEN and Luckhurst are terrible.
When Luckhurst was reporting we wanted Lukaku, but everyone was convinced we wanted Morata, he was called a know-nothing wanker then. Turned out he was right all along. So I wouldn't be so quick to call him a bullshitterIt's the easiest thing to come up with after such a thing happens? No one is going to verify this and to top it off, MEN and Luckhurst are terrible.
Sure, things may be portrayed a bit more 'dramatic' but that is merely the CAF atmosphere at work.Their legs aren't going to fall off all of a sudden, both are far from the required standard but will do the job as the did last season. Plus we have youngsters in Dalot/Shaw still.
JM stated the following after Valencia's injury; "And I think we need to get used to it because last season he was already in this kind of situation and probably this season we will have more than that." Dialot has also been ruled out until September, but it would also be a huge ask to expect him to be a world beater, at age 19, in his debut season in a very demanding physical competition such as the PL. Shaw's confidence looks shot. I agree that he could have a good spell of games, but it just doesnt seem to be working out for him, strengthened with a 'poor relationship' with the manager. United, one of world's most recognized clubs should be expected to line up natural fullbacks.

Bailly missed 20+ games last season with an ankle unjury, but i do admit that this should not be a projectory of how he will fare next season. In regards to Jones, how often have fans stated that 'this season he will finally leave his injuries behind him' ? In regards to Lindelof. A big season is ahead of him who has one year of PL football in the pocket. He enjoyed good and bad games and i feel the opinion on him is divided. Rojo is solid, but not world-class to relay your title hopes on. This will be Mourinho's third season and there is no real established backline which is worrying but then again, injuries and the adaptation of Lindelof havent really helped this cause.
Bollocks,
I do agree that these are just rumours, but could there be any truth to it? Like any rumour, time will tell.
None of us have the slightest clue as to what he did in the past year, and in case you missed it he got a promotion and a better wage packet at Zenit.
True. Its unfortunate that United couldnt reap the rewards of a scout who has been highly praised for his work at Juventus.
Again just rumors, none of the reputed journos have spoken anything about it. Looking at Simon Stone/Di Marzio.
Agree. Fans naturally would love to see United adress the positions that ought to be adressed and when an 'underwhelming'' rumour as this one comes to the surface it only strengthens the fans who are 'worried'
about the priorities (winger and fullbacks)
