Its a forum and I'm discussing a story that was released by several sources at the same time. The link may not be true granted, but the fact that 4/5 different sources are linking us with Maguire points fingers, and if the Club are even thinking about paying £65m for him I would be concered. Wise the feck up yourself.

Wait until its official before pissin yourself ffs

We could do a lot with him.

Vidal at this price would be good business for a couple of seasons. Pogba, Vidal, Fred, Matic, Pereira would be a really good rotation for our midfield.

This news and our interest in Boateng makes me really happy, in contrast with the news of Harry Maguire and stuff.

Vidal, Boateng and go all out for a winger. Would be hell of a window.

God no! Both Vidal and Boateng look shot. Why else would Bayern want to get rid of 2 one time great players?

Boateng would be awful business, he's clearly on his last legs and needs to wind down; Bayern bought Sule for that exact reason, we need to follow Bayern's business strategy of bring in youthful replacements and then sell the players who can't perform to the highest level anymore. They did it with Schweinsteiger, they did it with Lahm, They're doing it with Boateng; we could do with competing with Bayern for Pavard if were going in for anyone at CB. We need to compete for the replacements, not the people they're replacing.

Jose doesn't really rotate, especially in midfield. Maybe some for cups, but he basically rides a few horses into the ground, even when he has players he trusted in previous seasons crying for PT.

If he does not want to be here please just sell him and get in a RW.

Effort on the pitch?

Martial was showing plenty of effort before he was booted out of the team to make way for Sanchez.

I didn't actually mind keeping Fellaini, one less squad member to replace, but it just seems too much like double standards from Jose.

Seems like something happened after the game last night.

He got "booted" out of the team because he got injured about 3 weeks after Sanchez arrived.

Looks like we’re in for a long sour season. Dread to think what could happen if it continues like this

So, basically, when challenged for a position, he downed tools.

He really couldn’t give a feck last night.
Yeah I thought it was bad too. He's been given a chance to show why he should start and play up front and doesn't seem like he cares. Shame, but if a player couldn't give a feck to play for us, I couldn't give a feck if he's here.

I mean fine, that's understandable at this point, but it will be entirely pointless if we don't bring in a RW and there are not exactly many options available, especially now with Bale set to stay. And I just don't feel we'll solve anything, if we bring Willian in.

It's all a bit dispiriting really.

That said under SAF summers like this usually resulted in a trophy. Well most did, but you need to be at least a bit positive.

I made peace with this long ago. Raiola clients never last long at one club. Clear that Raiola is using his minor disagreement with Jose to persuade him in moving to another club.

He's world class when he's arsed, but if we sell him for a good fee, we can replace him with a couple of midfielders in the mold of Savic or Keita if we look hard enough and exhibit a willingness to buy. Don't expect he will be sold this season though.

I don't know what was happening behind the scenes, but I remember him having a run in the team and scoring a few goals. We then signed Sanchez, who I was not against at the time as I thought he'd operate from the right or through the middle, but he played very poorly and Martial didn't get much of a look in.

Anyway, looks like he's gone now if the club get the offer they want. Just hope there's enough time to get an attacking reinforcement in.

I'm sure that Martial could potentially do well elsewhere but the fact is that Jose doesn't rate him and also he doesn't really fit into our system very well, so it would be a good move for him. I suspect we'll use the money to make Chelsea an offer they can't refuse for Willian.

I guess you could say the same about Pogba - we've seen how effective he was for France and before that for Juve, but again not suited to our system

Could they even afford Pogba? He would command a larger fee than what they paid for Ronaldo and Juventus don't exactly have petrol dollars like PSG or City.
