Feck me, what a day
Martial hell bent on leaving, Pogba wants to go, Mourinho ditches plans to buy Sandro or any LB for that matter , United drop their interest in Alderweireld, United to fork out 65 million pounds on fecking Maguire and United's chief scout leaves the club because he had no power!!
I know it’s great right?

It's a disaster. Real disaster.

Apparently it was unanimous amongst the clubs, even the bigger ones like Utd who do most of the plundering. It was so everyone had to make do with what they had from the first game, and couldn't suddenly sign a few players a couple of games into the season.

As an idea it makes sense, but it only works if the rest of the major leagues follow on to be honest.
Big "if". Why not wait for other FAs? Why do it on your own? Try to fix a small issue now it becomes a crisis for English clubs in transfer market. Getting price bullied and they can still lose players to other league after few first games without way to replace!!! (Keeping unhappy players not always good idea)

Edit: These counter questions were also foresight.

I'm really disappointed in Utd with this 'don't want to sell to rivals' policy. I'm not sure I have right words in English to describe this but it's something like small town syndrome/mentality (nothing to do with city of Manchester just in general state of mind of people in Utd board).
We sold to Utd Mata, Matic, indirectly Lukaku and Mourinho. Could sell you Willian without any problem. Arsenal gave you Sanchez. Also a lot of examples in PL with selling to rivals from other clubs. Giroud, Cole, Sturridge, Nasri, Torres, Sterling, Ox etc...

Looks like only United have problem with this and it's kinda hypocrite.
P.S. i dont really want Martial to Chelsea with all better players available (Beiley, Lozano, Fekir, Pulisic)...

When Luckhurst was reporting we wanted Lukaku, but everyone was convinced we wanted Morata, he was called a know-nothing wanker then. Turned out he was right all along. So I wouldn't be so quick to call him a bullshitter

He's definitely a know nothing wanker for me. One or two things right doesn't change that.

Thought both United and City voted against it.

Not really. It wasn’t unanimous and both Manchester clubs opposed the move.

Glazers might as well just close up shop and terminate the club.

Only Chelsea I would consider selling martial to, but not Spurs, they offload Bale and Modric to Madrid for less price than we offered. For an example, if you sell a top player to us, we'd be happy to sell as long as we can have a relationship that works best for both parties, like Madrid and Bayern.

They would make the story more believable if they stopped saying it's so he can play with Ronaldo when he rejected thst chance 2 years ago.
Or Pogba had known Ronaldo was moving to Juventus all the way before WC when Pogba requested for a move in other rumor...

It wasn't though, reports are there were 14 votes in favour, which was what it needed to pass I think, 5 agaisnt including United and City and Burnley abstained.

The issue is that we, as fans, can't accept this because if we end up signing no one then they will just give us the BS line of "we tried to sign a big name star, but were unable to reach an agreement" if its the other issues then we could be well and truly fecked, we need to add to our squad, not with useless positions like a new CB, we have 5 already, we need a new LB at least, possibly a new striker/RW but I'm convinced either Rashford or Martial can make the RW their own this season.
In any case, something has to change. personally I would take transfer dealings away from Woodward and bring someone in specifically for that purpose, I think that's what DoF's do but not too sure, let them work with the scouts and come summer or January, no time off, get the deals done.
I complained the other day at Woodward watching the tennis when the WC final was on and I still believe I was right to do so, we should have had a member of staff at every single game of the WC, scouting the best players around, but we didn't, we let the man in charge of transfers watch fecking tennis instead of the biggest game of the year. We need someone to take some duties off Woodward because, although he's good at what he does, he's too involved in the clubs business, we cant have one man doing everything.
Woodward isn't the only person from our executives who deals with transfers. Also, cellphones are an invention and one can use them to talk to agents. You're just looking for a scapegoat. He's a human being, rich and successful in his career. Does he make mistakes? Yes. Does watching a tennis match impact our ability to finish a transfer? No.

I'm pretty sure this guy reads the Caf and is enjoying the meltdown, so adding more to it and people are falling for it.

Our chief scout told he's 'no power', absolute nonsense. Why would United hire someone for such a role if they were going to have no say in how we operate? He's simply had a job offer which is giving him a pay increase, wouldn't the Caf do the same?

This is unbelievable. What are we doing? Foreign club offering huge fee for a 30 year old Willian and we're turning it down. That seems like a hell of a price to get for him. I mean, if Barca are desperate for him and Marina is able to extract £70m out of them she'll look like a genius but on the flip side, we risk them saying "feck it" and walking away.

Can you afford to lose both Hazard and Willian in the same window?

I don't think they'll miss Willian at all and could comfortably find a good replacement attacker. Hazard on the other hand..

Still think Hazard stays. Too late to replace him and all the rumblings out of Madrid say they won't pay the £200m we value him at.

Even if Eden goes I don't think losing Willian would be a huge deal.

I'm a big fan of Martial but agreed. If his heart isn't in it when he has a big chance to cement his place in the opening games of the season then there isn't much point keeping him around.

Will be one to watch, considering we are being linked to the likes of Willian,Bale, Perisic etc. for large sums surely he would have been worth a punt at that price.

Price to United would have been at least £80m

Yep, sounds much more plausible.
