My suggestion is based on watching every United game and the stats on goal scoring chances saved by De Gea. So it is not disingenuous just my opinion based on what I see and read.
My suggestion regarding Liverpool is no solely based on Karius potentially being replaced by Allison, it is that I believe overall they are no better than us or no worse based on their current squad as they have improved greatly over the past few years with player additions and style of play.
Who knows where either team will finish but I highly doubt it will be above City who I strongly believe to have a better squad than everyone else.

The last part about city I agree with, although I think the fact we've not lost to them in 4 years still means they're not on par with us at all :D. Anyway, agree to disagree!

Started by Liverpool fans and then caught by press. It's such a idiotic view. If that's the case, the first excuse will be

- new team, they have to gel.
- need more of his players
- sacked.

- new manager, he should get his own players to be rated.

It was started by Utd fans when Van Gaal came. People on here were talking about a complete restructure because his style of play demanded specific players i.e. Rojo being signed because he is a left footed CB and Van Gaal emphasised how important the left sided CB being left footed was. Heck that is why Tyler Blackett got games in 2014-15.

Same. What a nothing article.

Most posters on here could of done the same summary.

Of course. Being a "football journalist" doesn't make you more qualified to speak on football than anyone of us.

Tosun
Januzaj ------------------------ Malcom
Sigurdsson
Everton would look decent if they manage to get their targets. They're also linked with Mina and Vida who both looked excellent at the World Cup.

Was hoping he wouldn't go there. We need to do something, fast.

We do but we won’t, we seem content on sitting back watching others do smart business whilst we continue to have the same deadwood in our squad from 5 years ago.

Twitter handle called Scouts in attendance.

Do we just post tweets from anywhere now?

Klopp hasn't shown he's able to build a team that's a point gathering machine.

He can make exciting teams, but excitement doesn't win leagues. Pep and Mourinho are the two best managers in the world at gaining points, and I simply don't see Klopp leapfrogging either.

I'd fear Liverpool in the cups but not the PL.

Because they signed a good keeper? We already have the best keeper.

Because that keeper will improve their defense.
Because they have a better attack that us.
Because they're added some depth to their squad.
Because their manager doesnt fall out with his players like ours does.

Sorry....i'm just in a doom monger mood today :(

I mean I'm not a fan but you can't simply ignore the back-to-back laegue titles with Dortmund?

They will have improved their defence from this time last year( Alisson, Robertson,Van Dijk)and midfield(Fabinho, Keita) significantly and they already had a devastating forward line. They also signed Shaqiri, that's great business whatever way you look at it.

They'll fight for the title next season and we. Well we will do well to get top 4.

Exactly. We're stagnating MASSIVELY as it stands, which alarming and begs the question of what exactly is going on at our club. Have the owners told Jose 'no more money'?

Did you know we bough a much needed cm? Also, 3 more week left to the star of the season and closure of the transfer market. Stop the drama.

Liverpool are there. They are the closest team to Man City. Adding a top keeper. Their defence improved in the 2nd half of last season. They've reinforced the midfield with Keita and Fabinho. More depth to the attack with Shaqiri. The points dropped by their useless keepers and defence in the 1st half of last season won't be dropped this time. They can challenge for the league.
