I can find nothing about the €160M in the Di Marzio article.

We need someone who are a sure thing. Bale would be great, except his injury record.

So Bale isn't a sure thing either. There is no sure thing. Mahrez was the closest thing you could get to a sure thing.
Like I said, there is very little risk in buying Malcom.

Hazard and Courtois for 160m is an absolute robbery. Deal of the decade that.

I mean Barca got Coutinho alone for 140m!

30m for him feels wrong. His not good enough imo. But I agree, we need to digg deep to get the right player. Mahrez is a good player, but we can do better.

God I really hope Chelsea lose both Courtios and Hazard, no way are they going to be able to properly replace them both in three weeks, is there even a top quality LW available?

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I want the best players to stay here in the Premier League, regardless of which club they play for.

For me, it makes the league more exciting. Also, it can potentially help to keep us competitive if our rivals have star players.

"i WiLl NeVeR sPeNd 80 MiLlIoN oN A pLaYeR" - Klopp

*proceeds to spend it on a GK*
Will any journo have the stones to ask him about that I wonder? Will have spent 75m on a CB and 70m on a keeper after criticizing other clubs for spending huge sums.

1. Find out who they're replacing them with.
2. Sign them.

Except they've already signed most of them. Tolisso and Goretzka will be the replacements for Thiago and Vidal. Bernat hardly plays due to Alaba and I'm guessing Sule would take the place of Boateng

It is kinda ironic. Liverpool fans chirp up that the 'market is different now', yet Liverpool would have the worlds most expensive Keeper and Defender.

Even with Valencia and Young at FB, we still have a better back 4.

Robertson - Van Dyke - Gomez/Lovren - Arnold Young - Bailly - Jones/Smalling - Valencia

Not much between them, performance wise or ability wise. I would have picked our midfield over theres but they have added two good players and us one and I would probaly pick our attack over theres ability wise just but performance wise there attack (of course to a large degree becasue of the way they play) was better by a mile.
We do need to face facts, we are not the same side of 6/7 years ago. We have half a side of great ability and barely a quarter of a side performing. To succeed this year we need four or five players in, the same out, a youngster or two to break throughh and a good 6 or 7 players to perform to there undoubted ability if they are still here... Shaw, Bailly, Pogba, Sanchez, Rashford, Martial being the obvious ones

According to Alfredo Pedulla:
An agreement of £45 million has already been reached for Rugani as the clubs look to finalize the details.
Meanwhile, Juventus are looking to lure a price of £54-57 million to sell Gonzalo Higuain.

It's really annoying to see rumors of our players (the good ones) wanting to leave. this is why we need to start winning major trophies again asap

Agree about Pool but what are Chelsea doing that so good?
Sarri hasn't won a major trophy in his managing career if I'm not wrong
They are about to loose on of the top 5 keepers in the world and are probably going to replace him with Kasper who isn't as good
Hazard is yet to sign a new contract and is looking for a move
They do not have a proper striker, Morata is struggling and Giroud IMO was very poor in the world cup
They have signed Jorginho who if I'm not wrong has had 1/2 good seasons,we will have to wait and see if he is going to do well
And about Rugani and Golovin - even many Juve fans I asked on here don't really care that he's leaving, apparently he hasn't developed like they expected him to and have another young CB with a higher potential on loan
Golovin - looked good in the WC, but I doubt if anyone had ever heard about him before the WC. He had one good tournament
Sarri was a very bold choice, who did wonders with a very Napoli team, and brought Jorginho who is great player. I don't think Hazard will leave this season, and Rugani and especially Golovin are bold choices, especially now they are more restrained financially. But they are adding and balancing the squad.

The only worry, and it's a big one, is Curthuois.

We should be moving forward and aggressive in the market, not having players like Pogba linked with moves away. It’s very annoying.

He's tailor-made for Italian league, though. Potential buyer from Italy knows that, we know that.

He was 4 years ago, remains to be seen if he still is. His mentality to play for a big club also has to be questioned.

The big Italian teams don't seem all that convinced, none of them seem too keen on paying anything close to what United seem to think he's worth. To get him shifted i think United will have to re-evaluate his worth or try to include him in a swap deal for another player.

I don't think this latest supposed Hazard price is irrational. He has 2 years of contract, not 4. Next summer Chelsea would get half the money they can get now, as he will have 1 contract year left. Or even leave on a free in 2 summers, and he will still be 29. I know that's being a poor crippled old man on a wheelchair for some Caf members who live the Logan's Run movie in their heads, but in real life that's still a good age to sign a player like him, maybe not by Madrid at that point if they sign someone else, but for any other club. He made obvious through his words since WC finished he wants to play in Real Madrid, opposed to Neymar, who has said nothing, too, so it's not like he's not forcing to leave, he made it clear and can play with it.

What is Chelsea going to do? Sitting him on the bench to force him to stay and renew? After this exceptional World Cup he made? Don't make me laugh.

What a strange post.
