Yikes £55m but hey he is worth it
He has a year extension that Spurs can activate. What's with the 25m release clause for next year that is mentioned in the article? I thought his contract ended in 2019?
Are you sure Chelsea will be successful?
This is already an awful transfer window and probably wont get any better. If Chelsea get Sarri I might lose the will to live.

Really not feeling it this Muppet Season; hopefully just post-final blues
So the context is let's get rid of an old dinosaur and get any attacking manager?Well we weren't this season either. It comes down to that old adagio where people are laughing because Sarri's won nothing, don't want Poch he's won nothing! Dont want this and that guy he's won nothing! You have to look at the context of the situations the managers are in. Bayern have just recruited Niko Kovac, who as a manager has won absolutely nothing in his career apart drom the Pokal he just won the other day. Yes Sarri will get Chelsea playing awesome football, no they might not be successful. But well we've done feck all this season as well whilst the majority of time playing like the plan is to suck out the enjoyment from every supporter watching the match.
1 year left on his contract and 55m? No way that’s true. We got Sanchez for 35m
We don’t pay almost record breaking fee for a 29 year old cb with an expiring contract
It’s got feck all to do with the Mirror (there’s hardly a tabloid I pay less attention to in general than that rag). Its the Mirror
Ridiculous fee, but what did I expect?
We got Snachez for free, in exchange for an out of favour player we bought for £27m.
'Almost pay a record breaking fee' - £55m is nowhere near £75m.
He's the hipster manager of the season.People being worried that Chelsea might get Sarri, the manager who has won feck all in his career.

As for Niko as happy as I am cause he's one of mine there are lots of Bayern fans not happy with what appointment.
Koulibaly for 105 million?I would rather we try and get Koulibaly from Napoli than Alderweireld.
What rumours are those? The context is to get someone in who at least has us playing entertaining football because if Mourinho's not winning trophies then what exactly is he good for, if the rumours are true and there's massive squad discontent and we know how Mourinho is by experience then next seasons already looking like a meltdown waiting to happen.

Willian is a decent player but not sure about us signing him. Would rather us go for Bale
Koulibaly for 105 million?
Also for a guy his size, he is meh in the air
As far as I'm concerned, Toby is the perfect candidate. He compliments all our CBs very well whether it be Bailly or Smalling.I would like to to have him as CB pair with Bailly but I would hope to get him for less than 105m ofcourse.
He technically has two years left on his contract.Toby is a muppet signing to have in the back but £55m for 1 year left? feck that

Jumping to a very big conclusion there. He was applauding the crowd and then gave a young fan his match shirt, hardly doing a lap of honour on his own waving to everyone. Not sure if it was shown on TV but after our game last week at Watford he stayed back from the rest of the players and was gesturing to the crowd like it was a goodbye.
Unsure mate, I was sat at the opposite end of the ground so couldn't see what was going on exactly, hence I asked if it had been discussed on here before as I doubt it would have been on TV.Jumping to a very big conclusion there. I would look at it more as an average defender is £25-40M and if he can add to our play what is missing from the back in terms of composure, anticipation added with top-level distribution then it is well worth it.55m for a Spurs squad player? I mean he's better than Jones and Smalling, but 55m??!

If there is a huge discontent within the squad then I'd rather we back Mourinho rather than the unhappy players. Some haven't prove anything that would suggest that they're worth defending let alone staying at the club. Its not like back when its players vs Moyes where the players are actual winners. The current lot haven't deserve their right to moan. The context is to get someone in who at least has us playing entertaining football because if Mourinho's not winning trophies then what exactly is he good for, if the rumours are true and there's massive squad discontent and we know how Mourinho is by experience then next seasons already looking like a meltdown waiting to happen.
The improvement to the team relative to the transfer fee just isn’t worth it.
Alderweireld is better than our CBs but unless we have Manchester City level of spending to splurge out - rather than our recently large, but capped budget in the last few years we should be looking to spend big on the priority positions. Fullbacks, a central midfielder, and a right sided winger should all be before a CB.
In this market if you have a line on an elite defender, you lock that down. Even if it’s not your primary need. The improvement to the team relative to the transfer fee just isn’t worth it.

Correct.Ok....its still May
Imo he can play on either wing. I know what you are saying though. We need an actual winger who stays out wide if not a full back who does more than ValenciaBut Bale is injury prone and plays on the left wing. We have enough options for the left wing as it is with Alexis, Rashford and Martial. We need someone for the right wing.
