I must seriously be missing something, because I think two fullbacks (slightly less so RB seeing as we’ve signed the best Portugeezer to live, apparently) and an actual right winger seem a lot more important to me.
Because then he/she couldn't whine about style of play and entertainment, and also take a dig at the manager.
It's a clear sign of emotional thinking, to make assumptions to fit a preconceived notion. If on August 9th we have not signed a RW and/or LB then it is rational to have a go at the manager. Not in the middle of the World Cup where many players will be difficult to sign because they are still at the cup or are just coming back home.

Maybe he doesn’t want to come to England. He’s smart, the Italian League is better suited to his aging legs and Juventus have an easy time in that league.

He's after a CB because none of our CBs are top class or good on the ball or leaders. A typical Mourinho team has a top notch defense with world class defenders because that's the base/foundation of his tactics. He is a defensive coach who believes that being defensively solid is very important. We knew this before we signed him, this is nothing new. So I don't understand why people are acting like the unexpected has happened

IMO, we have made only 1 signing and need another 2-3.
Dalot is a kid who probably won't play more than a few minutes in the first team.
And the 3rd choice GK will probably never be seen in the first team.
Fred is the only player we have bought in, to play for the first team.
