Pretty sure there was a Porto fan back a couple of years ago who said Quintero is far too weak for European football.
Madrid contact with Quintero
Godin, no thanks.
Put that money towards a young player, with potential, big potential.
With wages etc he would cost circa 75m for 3 years service, with no guarantee he would be up to much in year 3. We have one player we foolishly threw huge money at when it's clear he's on the downslope, we aren't a retirement home. As the game gets more and more "athletic" the peak for players, in my view, is lowering (25-27 as opposed to the old standard of 28-30)
For every Pirlo, there's 5 Falcao's. Even with AP he didn't change league etc so it's slightly "different".
I was listening to the Colombia-Poland game on BBC radio yesterday and whoever was doing the punditry was waxing lyrical about Quintero. Going so far as to say that he would not only pick him for this world cup’s best XI, but he’d make him his first pick and the captain too.
I wasn’t sure if it was a different Quintero he was talking about or if the bloke was so high on poppers he’d transcended to an alternate dimension.
Being responsible for transfer news at the journos must be a very boring job this summer..
They should start paying for their scouts to leave the TV room.
Mateo Kovacic wants to leave #RealMadrid.
But they won’t make it easy for him.
He’ll be held to 3 years remaining on his contract with a €300 million release clause.
So is someone going to come out with the slavery remark again like they did with Ronaldo?
LVG laid the foundations. He actually knew the real use of Darmian.3 Italian clubs linked to Darmian?
If Juve wants Darmian, give us Sandro.
If Inter wants Darmian, give us Skriniar.
If Lazio wants Darmian, give us Savic.
It is a very obvious interest, and very typical of Madrid. I read somewhere else that they had contacted him, but surely they have done it with many.
I personally love the profile,a very talented creative midfielder who had bad luck in Europe but make a great world cup and returns in a big way. I like to sign a "mediapunta" every summer so could be an option, until we see someone better
You really think there's something in it?
I mean this would be typical for Perez, however, he is not the BIG star Perez is usually looking for. Would have expected that Madrid would ge for Hazard et. al after the WC.
What are we waiting for if such clause actually exists? 20m. for Godin it's no brainier.
Juve want Godín,now that his clause is 20m€
Commercially I´m sure that they´d be interested. In any case he has to prove a little more, although James was also unknown to most of the fans before the previous world cup. If he's cheap, could replace Kovacic.
Hazard is very expensive and maybe depends on Neymar. Right now I would say(in Florentino´s mind) Irving Lozano> Hazard
that´s impossible.@carvajal quintero is no james, and he's worse than Jesé. You understand what i mean by that
Steer clear. Good thing it's AS reporting, which means there's a 90% chance it's a fabrication
He has quality but can't be bothered to stay fit for more than a month for Colombia. He'd spend more time eating mariscadas and closing night clubs than trainingthat´s impossible.
Yesterday I loved him, a lot of quality and vision of the game.
One of the midfielders that I liked the most during the World Cup
I think I’d prefer adding that lad from Lyon. I think he’d dovetail better with our other cms
Yeah. All we need is another left winger because we don't have enough.Put in a cheeky bid for Hazard, he would be amazing here.
Pretty sure he'd play behind Lukaku if by some ridiculous miracle he ended up here, it's pointless to discuss it either way. Also sadly, Martial won't be a united player come the new season.Yeah. All we need is another left winger because we don't have enough.
He can play as a 10Yeah. All we need is another left winger because we don't have enough.

Insane price for a quality player. Solves all our problems at the back. Wish we were linked with him.
Also, Atletico would just offer him more to keep him happy if that's what he wants. He has been there for a while, has a great rapport with the club and relationship with the manager and Atletico are probably looking at their best squad of the Simeone era right now especially with Griezmann renewing. As @Inter Yer Nan just said, I do not think he will leave Atlético, and if he does, it seems to be perferct for Italian football. With his age I don´t see him starting an adventure in England.
In any case I think he has a good contract, which will not be easy to equal for Juve.
So far yes but doubtful in the long run with Mensah returning and Dalot already here. Add to that news about Shaw more likely to stay and there's not much room for Darmian. So Darmian remains at Manchester United ?
So Darmian remains at Manchester United ?
He’s also been linked to Napoli and Inter. It’s clear that we don’t consider him part of our plans and are actively looking to sell.So Darmian remains at Manchester United ?

Logic simply says he's good as gone.
It's clear that you're not otherwise you'd have lowered your price in the £10-12m rangeHe’s also been linked to Napoli and Inter. It’s clear that we don’t consider him part of our plans and are actively looking to sell.

Yes, we are looking to actively sell, but we are also looking to actively sell for more than anyone would reasonably pay for him.
It’s natural for clubs like United to try to get a deal that leaves a good taste in the mouth when parting with an unwanted player. The problem is that Darmian is only rated in Italy where most clubs are notoriously frugal.Yes, we are looking to actively sell, but we are also looking to actively sell for more than anyone would reasonably pay for him.
