He says no Savic. Lorenzo Pellegrini is mentioned, but only vague.

I don‘t know why another midfielder should come in, there are 4 midfielders who want a starting spot plus Lingard, McTominay and Pereira. I didn‘t count Fellaini.

Jose said back in December that we will be looking to bring in two midfielders to replace Carrick and Fellaini (if he doesn't renew).

This was before McTominay started to play regularly iirc, so not sure if it's still in Jose's plans.

Hopefully we'll use McTominay more in the coming season and rather than signing another midfielder (we have Pereira coming back, and Fosu-Mensah can also be used as a backup in midfield) we'll go for a right winger, left back, centre back or maybe a backup striker.

I'd say if we check at least 2 of those signings (I hope we'll go for left back or centre back and a right winger) our transfer window has been decent. Depends on the signings though, you never know with Mourinho.

Real Madrid and Zorya Luhansk have reached an agreement for the transfer of Andriy Lunin (19), who joins the club on a six-year deal.

That's it. This confirms for me the admin of this official Roma account can't be older than 15 years old.

MEN have got that Fred as the replacement for Carrick, but it would make sense that Fred, seeing as he is a box to box midfielder, is Fellaini's replacement.

I guess MEN feel that a replacement for Fellaini will need to be over 6ft. Against Chelsea, Mourinho mentioned that without Lukaku and Fellaini we lacked 'presence'. Bringing in a tall player, who we could bring on and occasionally start to give us that presence, both defensively and offensively, would be an advantage.

Players like Talisca, Pellegrini, Sergej, Rabiot, Loftus-Cheek, Dendonker would be ideal.

That said, we have a player in McTominay, who, since he's joined our first team squad, has been brilliant, in my opinion.

At 6ft4, I don't see why he couldn't replace Fellaini. He's physical, works hard, gets up and down the pitch and is tactically very good.

Then the addition of Fred means we've got that conductor in midfielder.

To me, Pogba, Matic, Fred, Herrera, Lingard and McTominay are enough midfielders going into next season.

Pogba/Lingard
Fred/McTominay
Matic/Herrera

"In theory, Carvalho could arrive at Inter as a free agent. The situation is not so linear, however, as Sporting is threatening to dispute FIFA's decision to let the players break their contracts. Therefore, whoever signs Carvalho (and the other free agents) could face eventual economic sanctions. Inter is evaluating the situation of signing the player and the possible future implications."

I thought he was dreadful against us. Is he normally a decent defender?
Looked amazing the first couple seasons but took a couple steps backwards in the last two. Decent defender, strong, fast and very good in the air. But not great
