It's quite sad. After witnessing that goal against Liverpool at the beginning we were absolutely certain he'd go on to become top class. Even now, his natural ability is beyond other squad members, yet, he's so frustratingly ineffective. It's possible he'll become that player elsewhere, but not under Jose at this time.

It isn't though. Why do people keep repeating this?

Pogba's natural ability is clearly greater than Martial's. Sanchez's is too.

What a weird reaction

How is it a weird reaction? No Spanish media is reporting anything on RM - DeGea, let alone "Perez has been openly discussing the price of De Gea" so this cnt is clearly making it up to drive some clicks to his shitty local newspaper.

If he is to be sold, we have absolutely no leverage now this has been said.

I've seen this a few times and it's...erm...not necessarily true. If his contract were running out as is Fellaini's, then we'll be taken to the cleaners. But now, if we don't want him to leave for cheap, we don't have to sell him on the cheap. We've seen clubs that could genuinely use the money do this move. In our case, we're financially sound enough to tell low bids to feck off. If no one takes and we do have to wait until seeing him go on a free, it's not a huge loss to us.

If he is going, I expect no more than 40 mil considering player of the season, Mahrez, will likely go for 75.

Wants out? Because he is not good enough. Simple.

I really like him and wanted him to succeed, but his attitude really does kill me at times. There is no place at a club like United to sulk. Beat the guy out ahead of you and earn your spot. I'm sure he will be great, but when players at this level act like he has at certain times, I feel they just don't have the character to make it here. If he wants out, show him the door.

Not after much then mate ..

Established world class players... Like Sanchez?

Yes. I still believe in Sanchez. He has another role here than at Arsenal I believe, but when he has a bad day its maybe 20-30% better than the games where Martial is invisible.

My point is just that City have De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling and they are all reliable constantly. I Think Lukaku is getting there, but Pogba only turns it on 50% of the games.

Basically Id like us to get our hands on more players like Kroos, Bale, etc or a type like a younger Robben. Proven class players who doesnt fall out of the games. I think we have too many young and unstable players.

....and Pogba’s attitude is even worse than Martial’s. Sanchez treading along the same path too but at least we’ve seen actual evidence of Sanchez’ talent. Pogba’s unbelievable talent exists only as a Redcafe fantasy.

Are you wumming? If anything Pogba is underrated on here these days.

Warn him that we'll only sell for €80m and that will only be achieved if he signs a new contracts or else he'll be benched for 2 years.

I do believe that Jose could have treated him better but I don't know what goes on behind the scene. But also, when you're given one chance, you have to grab it with both hands, and he didn't.

Bit of a conundrum. We should be holding out for massive money for martial. But we can't leave it too late to replace him. Bit of a trade off unless we can arrange a swap somewhere.

Weird thing is, I think Martial is the type of player that clubs will want
Juve > Dybala or Sandro
PSG > Veratti
Inter > Skriniar
Atletico > Griezmann
Bayern > ???
Tottenham > Toby

I don't think Real will be far off from showing an interest. He could be used as good leverage at these sides.

No one will make a move this summer when they can get him at discount price next summer.

Agree, our top level put all top 4 sides away, but the we go on and lose to Burnley etc. Extremely frustrating, we badly need consistency.

If we are going to do something like that it has to either be for a LB, CB or RW in my opinion.

Yes and no. I must admit, I enjoy the reaction when I speak my mind about Pogba but I sincerely believe he’s a fraud.

PP is superb at Football, I don't know if he's a very good "footballer" though, next season will tell I guess

I’ll be sad to see him leave. He should have had more opportunities and he should have taken his chances when given.

80m and outside the league.

 Now that's funny:lol:

So are you suggesting that he is good enough for all those teams but can't get in to yours?

Laughable really calling Valencia dross. This is the guy who chose United over Real, showed an incredible attitude to not only recover from a horrific injury but to then cement the RB spot over a young and talented Rafael. Never once has he complained about his pay, coasted through games or spat his dummy out, he's the exact type of player you need around.

Just because he's on the wane a little and his crossing isn't the best, people let the past few seasons cloud their judgement on Valencia, he's been solid defensively and not many can outpace or knock him off the ball.

To add to that he also fired his agent as he only wants to play for Utd and figured he did not need one, true Red!

Surprising what you say about Sanchez - I think he’s been horrid and hate how he took Martials spot - but he has that never say die attitude about him that José loves.

I want Tony to stay but I think he needs to put his effort into the side rather than his own ego. We are Manchester United, we don't get pushed over by players or agents, it's a honour to play for our club that many would dream of, it isn't to be taken for granted.

Look at the likes of Van Nistelrooy, you may be talented but without the Manchester United mentality, you may as well not even bother to turn up to training. We have our ways, based on respect and pride for the club and the fans.

Meanwhile he's linked with Spurs and Dortmund

Of course we don't intend to sell. You don't show all your cards before all bets are made!

Mourinho - if a player wants to leave, he can keale.

Martial - I wanna leave.

Mourinho - nah mate.

Don't see the point.

Probably due to us not having much hope of signing a marquee attacking playing this summer. I feel another CB signing and we are done unless we can get a good deal as I don't think we have a lot of money to spend personally.

Don't know if that's Mourinho saying the last part. Probably Ed that doesn't want to fold just yet.

Didn't Mourinho previously say that any player who wants out will not be stopped from leaving? If so, back-tracking big-time come the reality ...
If he wants to go, he'll be sold. This is public posturing from both sides. I guarantee if Martial walked up to Mourinho and personally told him he wanted to leave, he would be sold.

It’s a negotiation stance.. that’s pretty obvious. The club is doing what it can to control some damage his agent has caused.

Having read the full quote on the BBC website this could well be about the contract offer as much as anything else.
