If you read the full quotes from Martial's agent, it's obvious that this is really more about the wage being offered in a new contract than anything else.
Taking the word of The Sun as gospel are we.Didn't Mourinho previously say that any player who wants out will not be stopped from leaving? If so, back-tracking big-time come the reality ...

They also said Poch wanted Spurs to do their business early this year.Taking the word of The Sun as gospel are we.
Don't know if that's Mourinho saying the last part. Probably Ed that doesn't want to fold just yet.
am also told the player has reservations about living in Liverpool.
Don't see the point.

Yeah, and I do think he's good enough to get into our side also.
Meanwhile he's linked with Spurs and Dortmund
No surprise a Brazilian wants to live in Spain rather than England. To the United fans mocking Liverpool as a place to live, i'm guessing you've never visited Manchester lol. It's got the 2nd highest crime rate after London.
Fair enough mate. I do actually agree with you on this apart from the £80m. I certainly wouldn't mind Klopp getting his hands on him.

I certainly want an upgrade on our keeper situation, but in regards to Karius he actually done ok between coming in in Jan and the Champions league final. Just two VERY high profile errors in the last and most important match of the season. I just can't see how he could possibly come back from that.
If you had to pick between Liverpool and Madrid, I'm sure the lifestyle would matter. This is the move he would expect to stay at the club for at like 3-4 years, so it is important.I really doubt a professional like Alisson would pick a club based on the weather of the city. That is lazy journalism. A lot of Brazilian players spend half their careers in Ukraine and you see no signal they are unhappy. The thing is that since kids they dream to play in the NT/Barcelona/Real.
It could be the case if the clubs involved were, lets say, Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. But since its Real Madrid i believe even a hardcore Liverpool fan would pick the Spanish side.If you had to pick between Liverpool and Madrid, I'm sure the lifestyle would matter. How do these "option for another season" things work? Do both club and player have to agree for it to be activated or can one side unilaterally trigger it?Don't see the point.
