Fans shouldn't be crying themselves to sleep wanting Fellaini to leave. That's my point. It's not actually good for us if he leaves right now.
But it is going to happen because Fellaini wants to leave. Whether you think it is not good for the club, or the fans think it is good, is irrelevant really. It is happening, he will leave. And if it turns out bad like you say, you wouldn't be able to come in here and say..."told you so", for the simple reason it is out of our hands and when he leaves it is because he wants to.

We need our full backs on the right side. Especially with our wingers on the ‘wrong’ side. No point buying full backs with great crossing ability only to have them need to check back and change foot every time to deliver.

Don't misunderstand. I completely agree. I feel we need to upgrade both fullback positions with actual fullbacks. But, i'm just trying to get across what Mourinho might be thinking as he does seem to be a fan of Young.

Oh my God...

I am just saying I cannot understand why people want him to leave so bad.... it's not good if he leaves....

Right back at ya

And I'm saying if all the fans wanted him to stay, he is still leaving so what does it matter? Jesus, you saying fans shouldn't want him to leave if fecking pointless when he is going to leave. Kinell lad, can you not see it was a pointless comment in the grand scheme of things?

People don't seem to take into account that Fellaini leaving is not good for our squad building. That's the point I am trying to make. If he leaves and we have to replace him, and then we cant sign a CB is it really a good thing that he left?

But what has that got to do with anything? If Fellaini leaves it is because he wants to, not because some fans want him to. You posting reasons why we should want him to stay means nothing, because it is him that wants to leave. Who are you going to hold responsible for the reason you give above when he leaves? The fans, or Fellaini?

I am kind of at the stage where I think that playing an academy/ reserve player would be the best call rather than an expensive new contract renewal for him. I doubt they would fair significantly worse than him in the few games he would even play.

Ultimately Inwould prefer a quality replacement but if money is the issue Indont think many on here would complain if we promoted from within as it would only be as a backup anyway and who knows we may come good with one of our prospects.

So I cannot comment on people's opinions? I never said him leaving is in the hands of the fans. The fact that so many want him to leave when it's going to hinder our transfer window is baffling.

You can comment on what you want mate, it is a forum for just that. I'm honestly flabbergasted that Fellaini wants to leave when it will hinder our transfer window. Shelfish fecker eh.

He wants to leave because he wants to leave. It has nothing to do with the point I was making.

Do you not think it was a silly point you were trying to make given that he is leaving anyway? I mean you could rally and get all fans on here to want him to stay, but he will leave anyway, which means we will have to replace him.

Anyway, we'll leave it here. Lets agree to disagree yeah?

I was just saying I do not understand why people want him to leave so bad. How many times do I have to say it? The point I am making is pretty clear.

I am not saying everyone should want to keep him like it would change his mind. Jesus.

With all the Nabil Fekir claims and counter claims I can see this ending up as another VVD saga if we're not careful

Great price and a good move for Evans. Am relieved he's not going to City.

Not really. I'd be quite happy with Andreas Pereira taking his place on the bench this coming season.
I would love it if this happened. I think he can be an excellent deep lying midfielder, but unfortunately,
  • Pereira spent most of last season on the wings iirc
  • There is media speculation that he will not sign a new contract and will be sold.

Lyon really trying to get every last penny arent they

Or just having a go at the Liverpool press operating with a lower transfer price than the actual one to put the club in a better light (which they have been accused of before).

I don't think the clubs care about that. The details have to be disclosed to the FA and they cant cook their books to fool FFP (whatever is left) .

What the fans think is not something that would bother clubs.

Yep, they sold Suarw for 648m according to that lot before leaks (?) Killed that one
