By all accounts Belotti is a target man type who is primarily good in the air. I don't see the point in signing that type of forward when we lack width/crossing ability.

All clubs lay groundwork for signings during the season. I think woody may have not as he wanted to make sure we were in CL.
It's quite painful to read at the moment, we finished our season 3 days ago and because we haven't made 3/4 signings people are losing their minds. We have a little over two months before we kick a ball again, plenty of time to get the players we want through the door.

Let's do neither. Great teams don't need a big lump as a plan b and if we want to win league titles then neither do we.

Main word there is 'reported'. For me Bernardo Silva doesn't fit in to a Jose team so whether we were after him or not is debatable.
