He'll end up spending that all on Kyle Walker.

He hasn't heard of Levy yet.

Perhaps Spurs should reconsider the necessity of their £350m HSBC/Goldman/Merrill loans and simply get Abu Dhabi to fund their stadium build in exchange for Walker & Rose.

If we signed Marquinhos, Bernado Silva and Griezmann, I wouldnt complain if you put Bret Hart in goal, let alone Joe Hart. It would take something special to get me down from the clouds.

If we get Griezmann and Bernardo Silva, I could give two fecks who else we sign.

We were just as excited when we signed Bastian, Morgan, Falcao, Di Maria.

Kill joy, alert...

Well yeah, we were in euphoria but if you look at it objectively and even though now it is easy to say in hindsight, Falcao and Basti were destroyed by injuries. We were naive and got carried away by the big names

Morgan just never made the step up and Di Maria was a disappointment. Griezmann and Bernardo are in the Di Maria category and class, both top players playing top football for top clubs in the CL semi finals and one of the key players for both sides.
They have grit and determination, something Di Maria lacked, he never wanted to be here in the first place anyway.

We will get one of them and not both, unless we plan to sell some forwards. I think its basically if griez comes no silva, if griezmann says no then we get silva.

I don't think we'd even need to see anyone, Ibrahimovic is already out for an extended period of time. Players like Mata and Mkhitaryan are also seemingly fine without playing every game, if the rumours are true about us being willing to spend close to £350m on only a few players it wouldn't surprise me at all to see us sign both (still think Griezmann is a pipe dream though).

Mourinho said that his transfer plans had changed after ibra got injured. My guess is we will go for 2 forwards, perhaps greizmann and a bigger target man like morata to play off

We're not going to qualify for Champions League which removes Griezmann transfer. We may end up with James just because we are the only one to pay his wages. It'll be ones of those windows where we'll just have to settle for second or third best players.

That a fact?

Yeah sure. We have no chance in the Europa.

Pretty much how we manage to shoot our selves in the foot everytime we have the chance to make top 4 easily makes me wonder if the group of players we possess, have the mentality to make us qualify for Champions League. To make matters worse, all our first teamers are practically injured, fatigued, off-form or just not good enough.

So to answer your question. Nope, it's not a fact but highly probable scenario judging by our recent state of affairs.

We scraped through in Europa with unconvincing performances. The chances of us winning is fairly bleak with this team. PS: In this competition where home advantage should be a benefit, doesn't look like it is.

Mourinho wins, I think he'll find a way. Obviously in a cup competition you need a bit of luck along the way.

There's some truth to what you say, but what's the point in giving up now? It's still in our own hands.

Going to be a struggle, so many injuries and will undoubtedly get more, as we cannot rotate some key personnel. But we still have a decent chance of top 4 and Europa, I refuse to be a negative twat like an awful lot on here.

I'm not saying that we need to give up but being a United supporter for so long, I'm sick and tired of mediocrity in the skill and more so in the mentality. Today, when I saw that we had 6 minutes of injury time, I figured we had a chance to get a last minute winner. For godsake, we shouldn't be playing this bad at HOME to a team that's on the brink of relegation where the goalkeeper has conceded the most goals in the PL. I'm frustrated and honestly, I don't expect anything out of this team. In games where we should be winning convincingly and improving our goal difference, we end up with draws. Time and time again, we only depend on Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal to drop points to actually put ourselves in a position to make top 4. We haven't done ourselves any favors and it's the same old story again, we get a goal and then we sit back. How can a team with the calibre of Swansea come to OT and dominate us with more possession. How do you justify that? like seriously Mourinho? fatigue? injuries? That's his own doing. We are in so many competitions, we needed a much deeper squad and now he's complaining about not having enough players. We've become a joke of a club since SAF left.

feck off you pessimistic loser!

Well then be a positive delusional twat then.

PS: We are not making top 4. "Negative twats" like me are pragmatic and know how hard it's gonna get when we face Arsenal and Tottenham away from home. Not to mention, playing Crystal Palace who have taken points of the top 4 who we need to play at home. You think we'll get 9 points from those games? especially with Mid-Week Europa games and injuries?

Haha.... Donut.... Your screen name is a O and you're calling me a loser. It's called calling a spade a spade. Stop being immature.

We've won all six home games in EL. (Actually we've won 11/11 home games in other tournaments.)

Fair enough... But with injuries to our CBs, Rojo, Bailly, Smalling and Jones are out. Can we risk playing Blind and Darmian in front of Romero? Our forwards don't score enough goals. I agree that Europa is still our best chance for qualification, but can't rely on that heavily since one bad game and it could ruin the entire season.

We got it. You've given up. I'd rather be excited and see what Jose and team might pull off. It's kind of more fun that way.
