Well, from what i read on this page (reliable, experimented, defensively sound with a bit of pace), all signs point to our man Tony V.

*Shudders* :((

Well, then you better act quickly as pretty much all signs (journalists and fans close to the club, officials, lack of serious rumours, Raiola´s stated deadline) point towards him signing a new contract this week.

Ah, last I heard he was likely to go to Juve and that Dembele was his replacement, but the Juve rumour died down and I know he's in the last year of his deal so thought he might be a great option, oh well.

I'll be honest, I really wouldn't mind Callum Wilson as an option up front at United. He knows where the net is and I'd imagine he'd be content rotating in and out of the side; we could do worse. I think he'd have been in contention for a Euros place (provisional at most, most likely) if he didn't spend so long out with injury.

Mourinho in talks with PSG (or probably not)

PSG: contract offer for Lacazette?

Win Dembele gone, Mahrez looking like he's staying, Griezmann the same, this is looking like a viable option.
Would rather him than Mane. He is cub better with the ball at his feet IMO and has a much heifer ceiling. Get it done.

It looks more like Jose's signing Sane looks more direct than mane imo ,lets get Sane and Zlatan.

AS: Real could activate a €50m clause for DDG until June 15.

Thats around £40m no? he's well worth that, ill be pissed if we don't get more for De Gea.

Why not? He'll be at the top of his game for another 10 years minimum, barring injuries.
Navas is a world class keeper too. I know Real squirt money everywhere but I genuinely think they'll just save their money and keep Navas as their #1 for the next 5/6 years.

Real didnt need James, they bought him just because of his profile, they will try to do the same with DDG.
If LVG stays then DDG is off IMO.

I could see Real paying that. The only thing is Navas has been class and the fans love him.

Real will pay that money easily because they are getting the soon to be Spanish number 1 who is in his prime and the best Goalkeeper in the World. For all the 'Galactico' type signings they make, they like to add Spanish players where possible to and De Gea is a win-win for them in that aspect.

Di Maria was leaving that Summer so they did need another attacking player and the difference between what they sold ADM for and bought James for was negligible. On the other hand buying DDG and getting rid of Navas would be a huge chunk of cash for a position they are already strong..

Real Madrid have never spent big on the less marketable positions of CB and goalkeeper and I'd be very surprised to see them blow a good portion of their Summer budget on De Gea, particualrly as release clauses have to be met as an up front payment, rather than several stages. I'd say it is more likely that they go in for Pogba and get rid of Kroos or possibly with the controversy surrounding Benzema, they sell him and go in for Aubameyang.

Stranger things have happened of course, particularly as De Gea may have only signed the new contract with assurances from Madrid that they'd be back in for him. It just doesn't to me match any of their previous spending patterns.

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but West Ham are throwing money about everywhere.

So Lacazette is clearly too good for Lyon. Question is, would he want to come to us if we tried signing him, and would he strenghten us?

Very good finisher and has speed to burn i'd say he would improve us but he looks good in a poor league.

We have an accomplished English striker with loads of experience if they feel like getting rid of those £31 million quickly.

True, but don't forget what club he was in before RM signed him though. We're a way bigger and richer club than Monaco and we can afford to give our players extremely high wages and refuse to sell our best players - no matter how much they'll offer us. Even though Perez will be like: 'I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse'.

Leave Rashford alone!

But seriously, Wayne Ham!

Yea you have a good point when saying he looks good in a poor league. He hasn't proven himself in the best leagues like Zlatan has for example.

Could still be the push he needs to reach the next levelBut we don't need to experiment right now.
