Zielinski is a good move for both sides. He will get playing time at Liverpool and Klopp is a good manager to develop him, he will suit this Liverpool side perfectly. He will never be a world class player but he can get to Krychowiak's level which is sufficient to succeed.

Win Dembele gone, Mahrez looking like he's staying, Griezmann the same, this is looking like a viable option.
Would rather him than Mane. He is cub better with the ball at his feet IMO and has a much heifer ceiling. Get it done.

Lets hope so. Would be the dream signing for us to compliment Martial on the right. But I just can't help but feel he's City-bound...

If Woodward doesnt feck around like he did with Sanches we might have a chance.

Anyone know anything about this Joao Mario lad? My knowledge is limited to the fact that he looks like Bobby Zamora. What type of midfielder is he? Any good?

I'd be delighted with Zlatan. He'd be a great role model for Rashford and wouldn't hinder his development and progress. He's also good enough even at 34 and we badly need characters in the team.

That bouhafsi fellow is usually reliable.

Will be interesting if we sign Zlatan. Think he'd want clarity on LVG situation before though.

It certainly wouldn't hurt United or the Premier League to have a player like Ibrahimovic come in.

Its very hard to imagine a Jose Mourinho team with offensive-minded 20-year-olds on both wings.

If Jose does come, I think he is more likely to buy an experienced two way winger with a big work rate and more defensive contribution. At least from the Inter team forward, he has opted for lineups with one offensive winger with fewer defensive responsibilities (Eto'o/Ronaldo/Hazard) balanced by another winger with pace and work rate (Pandev/DiMaria/Willian). Martial is the former, so he will probably look for the latter.

Amsterdam, Turin, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Manchester. Ibra saving the best till last

You can get 5/4 on him coming at Unibet. They only let me bet £1.57 though, the cnuts

Sane works very hard defensively though.

To be honest, I haven't watched him enough to judge. Maybe so. But, more generally, a 20-year-old wunderkid like Sane really doesn't fit the profile of what Mourinho has typically looked for in that position. Further, United already has a very young team and the pressure will be high to compete immediately. I think Mourinho will look for more established players, not necessarily old ones but ones entering their prime rather than 3-4 years away from their prime.

Same source, confirmation he's reliable (or usually is)

But who are these players in their prime that we can get, Mane?

If Zlatan is coming here which looks likely now, we need pace around him and Sane would definitely add to that.

Good right wingers are rare, we won't find much better than Sane imo.

Since when? I´m sorry but Sane´s defensive contribution is mediocre at best, which is understandable given his age. Infact you normally need a defensively strong FB behind him to balance out the many counters he causes with his often times reckless dribblings. He also does not use his high pace well enough after losing the ball (takes too long to switch to recovering).

Sane is a technically highly talented and fast winger with a lot of flair in his game, which makes him exciting to watch. However he is also still incredibly raw especially in terms of tactics (positioning, off the ball movement) and highly inconsistent in his performances. All that is completely alright for someone in the middle of his development. He would be well advised to stay another year at Schalke and mature as player before making the jump to a big club.

If Zlatan comes here, then Mourinho is coming too. I still think Jose is done, and these Zlatan rumours only strengthen my beliefs.

Thinking about it mate, you're probably right.

Mourinho won't have two players constantly trying to dribble with the risk of losing the ball.
Martial will be that player and then we will have a more mature player on the right.

I wasn't thinking it through when i answered.

At Real Madrid he had Ronaldo on one wing and Di Maria on the other, I don't see why he wouldn't have Martial and Sane, especially when he knows coming in he has to shake the "boring" tag and United are synonymous with attacking pace on both flanks. Martial and Sane both put enough work in and he'll probably clog the middle up with DM's to offset things.

We need more than two attacking midfielders anyway. Sane makes complete sense from our perspective even if Mourinho comes. Sane and one more attacking midfielder/winger, in addition to Ibra would be great.

Given City are interested, they will have the upper hand with CL football and all.

But like Sphaero said, he is often reckless with his dribblings ending up in the team losing the ball.
It would make sense if Mourinho went in for a player that knows when to pass the ball and when to dribble.

Martial would be the player allowed to try going past players a lot.

Of course, Sane would learn from Mourinho, but is Mourinho willing to be patient with a player like him or will he just go after a more mature player? The latter looks more realistic imo.

The same could be said of Di Maria and in that team Mourinho also fielded Ozil who is not known for his workrate. I think he knows coming here that there are many against him and the thing that lost LvG the fans to begin with was safety first, dull football. If he plays us with two flying wide men he'll be showing his intent to play in our way and silecne some of his doubters IMO.

The other aspect is who would be the older wide player? Mhkitarayan is the only one of any real quality I can think of that is actually available.

Well, from what i read on this page (reliable, experimented, defensively sound with a bit of pace), all signs point to our man Tony V.

Well, then you better act quickly as pretty much all signs (journalists and fans close to the club, officials, lack of serious rumours, Raiola´s stated deadline) point towards him signing a new contract this week.

Well that was quick. Must have been clause based and/or spread over for that sum to be rejected.
