As long as they keep using those fecking stupid nicknames, I'll keep ignoring them.

It's such a terrible attempt to "cut through noise" or whatever by doing something funny such as giving transfer targets quirky names. But it isn't clever of funny and only makes you hate them with a passion.

I bet it's Dembélé.
2-3 days ago it was him - among other journos - who wrote Dembele to Dortmund is close, meeting will be held in the upcoming week. At the very latest, we'll know by early September. :D

Don't think it's Dembele as it says that it depends on the situation with the coach. It must be a PSG player, probably Ibrahimovic or Marquinhos.

Is he Martial good? If so, break the bank!
He's really highly rated across the continent, has really high potential and only a bit more than we paid for Martial, Sanches's performances have been mostly mature from what I've seen but he's still raw. Definitely one for the future, although we said that about Tony :)

I'm sold. Break the bank Woody.

Dembele? I've not seen that much and I don't know if he is Martial good, but he really looks like another top class talent. Appears to have that bit of magic in his feet like the special talents do. Plus he is rapid, can play on the right or the middle, and he's been scoring lots of goals this season so he has that in his locker too. I hope we go for him full tilt. We could have two of the best young players in the PL in him and Martial. Hopefully it's not just a case of him being in red hot form misleading.

Nothing to do with reports of Dortmund having (apparently) signed a new attacker, of course...
No. For months the Mail and Mirror have been insisting that we are trying to buy him.

Dortmund aren't selling 3/4 of their best players in one window. They have one of the best teams in the world and don't need the money, why would they even consider selling Aubameyang when he has a long term contract? I seriously hope we're going to play this window smarter than that and not waste time chasing impossible targets like that.

Are you suggesting Dembele (whose signing isn't confirmed yet) is an attacker in the sense of a FW like Auba?

No. For months the Mail and Mirror have been insisting that we are trying to buy him.

Jack Gaughan at the Mail does all of the online shite. He read the supposed Dembele news about two hours ago and was told to get to work on getting the website some hits. Which is his job, of course.

No. See above.

I agree they aren't selling four of their best player's; however it isn't about Dortmund wanting to sell, it's about the player's agitating for a move. Usually this would be because their agents are in their ear saying they've been approached about clubs who would be willing to quadruple their salary and give them a 7 figure sign on fee.

Whether they agitate enough to force the club into selling is a totally different question. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gundogan and Hummels leave in July and then if towards the end of the window a bidding war going on for either Reus or Aubameyang and their heads being turned.

He's not coming. Dortmund don't need the money and goal getters are hard to find.
