This looks to be wrapped up now.
We are being surprisingly calm in this window.
and what? Had pelters on here from a few for saying he'd be a good third/fourth choice striker. He probably would! This poster will be devastated by this news and quietly baboon-baffled, absolutely astonished even, that an Everton supporter thinks he isn't worth 8 million.
I prefer the money held tight to our chests.I prefer to use the term, pathetically quiet in this window.

That's highly unlikely unless it's a young prospectThis, spending for the sake of it is a bad idea. We should only spend if a summer target becomes available sooner than anticipated.
I started a United only one but it died because we don't do anythingThis thread has become shit because it's only about other teams
Tears.I started a United only one but it died because we don't do anything
We didn't spend any money last January though?I remember saying a few weeks ago that the club is in a predicament because they have a manager that they probably no longer trust in the long term but want to keep for now. Would they stick or twist and let him continue to build and spend money? Well it looks like the answer is that they will stick, for now, but won't allow him to spend any more money.
Relax, muppets. There's something called "quiet before the storm". We could be working on wrapping up several deals as we speak, and then ... BAM! BAMBAM!
Probably not, though.

Seems a bit of a random one this. He's leaving Wigan, where he was on 25k a week, to join Tampines Rovers in Singapore (who are currently building an 8000 seat stadium about a 30 seconds walk from my front door) for around 5k a week.
I can only imagine someone else has brought him out on a sponsorship agreement which is being kept quiet. There are a lot of Liverpool and Arsenal fans over here.
Are they nuts? This deal has been done now.
According to Sky sports:
"PENNANT SIGNS FOR SINGAPORE SIDE
Former Arsenal, Liverpool and Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant has joined Singapore League side Tampines Rovers.
The 34-year-old has signed up for the 2016 season, with local reports in the Southeast Asian country claiming he is being paid £195,000 per month."
Can see what tempted him now...
It's still a shed load of money but it does say per month and not per week. Not sure if the guy above missed that? Are they nuts?
No he didn't, I misread it. Still £48,749 a week too much. It's still a shed load of money but it does say per month and not per week. Not sure if the guy above missed that?

Isn't he quite good?Morata to scouse
Whenever I watch him (CL etc) he looks good.Isn't he quite good?
We're just missing Sneijder and Gaitan to complete the holy trinity now.
I was reading that he has 1 goal in 18 league games. Why is that?Morata is class, no way he ends up in Liverpool. Madrid want him apparently, and doubly so with this transfer embargo.
