I really wouldn't mind Cech as a replacement, as good as it is to buy another young promising GK like Leno we probably have to go through the whole bedding in period again. If we get Cech he's already proven in this league, slots right in there and we don't have to worry about the position for another 4-5 years if not more if he works out.

I've heard a few people say that and I think you're probably right but why do you think Casillas almost refuses to leave and Madrid are so reluctant to get rid of him completely. He's clearly massively in decline, he's about to be replaced as number one, by our Dave sadly, and it seems like he gets booed by their fans every week.

I'd have Cech here in a heartbeat. Excellent keeper and you know what you are getting. He's a perfect replacement if De Gea leaves. See no downside in it.
