Gundogan to Arsenal surely makes no sense? They have enough trouble already fitting Wilshire and Ramsey into the same team..

I wouldn't care as much because you wouldn't be improving by replacing DDG with Cech. Arsenal would be getting a massive upgrade and are possibly our biggest challenger next season. Can't just gift them a world class keeper.

Yes. Anyone but bloody Arsenal and Wenger.
I agree. That arsenal squad is missing a world class keeper, world class striker and competition for coq. Gifting them cech makes them that much better. Cech wouldn't have conceded that goal Monday

That's a ridiculous amount of attackers for two positions at most. Too many big names and none would understand being left on the bench.
Tevez will leave Juve for Boca next year. Besides, this allows them to play 4-3-3 more often.

All very true but don't forget that Allegri is noted for his use of 4-3-1-2. Even if he's been very flexible with tactics this year.

My guess is it would often look like this:

----Morata/Cavani----
------<Dybala>-------
--------Tevez---------
--Vidal-------Marchisio-
---------DM------------
--------Back4-----------

which they've used this year at times with Pereyra in the role Dybala probably fits more naturally, providing width and pace.

Pogba likely leaving means they'll need more goals from their front 3 and with Vidal and Marchisio being excellent both ways, they can afford to go a bit more offensive.

Pogba out for 60-70, half on Dybala and the other half on Cavani, then the summer transfer money pays for the Pirlo replacement at DM they need to get this summer. Witsel seems to be likeliest name.

Then, when Tevez eventually goes, they can buy a 10 or a winger and play this diamond or move to a normal 4-3-3 with Dybala a bit wider.

I don't wan't Alves. Seems likely to be one of those where he's achieved everything at Barcelona and then comes here for one last big payday and doesn't put the effort in.

He has already won it all at Barca as of right now. Yet he has been their best player if you take away the front 3.

Seriously doubt it. Where would he play anyway? That would definitely be the end for Di Maria.

Bale/Depay wide, Di Maria in the role that Fellaini is currently playing in, a role he excelled in at Real Madrid.
But that's a debate that should be taken in another thread ;)

Yup, attacking wise that would be immense. But we would concede a goal every 5 minutes .

Is that true that his girlfriend and little girl are back living in the UK?
I read that they divide their time between Madrid and UK. Bale is a bit of a home boy, I remember Redknapp saying that he once gave him a few days off and told him to go on holiday but he went straight home to Wales instead.

If Bale's wife and kid have moved back to the UK its nothing to do with homesickness. If his family have moved back to the UK this close to the end of the season, that sounds like Bale's planning on moving back here.

Surely City and Chelsea would be after him as well. I know he's not flavour of the month right now, but I cant see it just being us in for him. Bale's Premier League proven.

-----------------------Carrick
----------------Herrera----Di Maria
-------Depay---------Rooney----------Bale

Possibly?
