Would be more lily to be Bale on the right and Depay on the left
Fair enough. Wasn't sure what was their preferred positions.

Defensively we'd get fecked over though unfortunately. Great on paper I'll give you that.
I'm not sure. Some say LVG plays with 4 defensive players (The two CB's and CM's) with an attacking midfielder (Di Maria) Di Maria's pace and workrate would allow us to press high up too. Ya could be right but I think it could work.

"PSV doesn't recognize the numbers published by BBC about Memphis. "If only they were true"

Poor Carrick
Di Maria played that position for Madrid and was one of the hardest working players in the side. Herrera isn't exactly slack in that department.
United defend with a high line and compact midfield. No player is isolated having to defend

Bbc continue to lose their credibility, it's obvious that they're named fee is ridiculous. They dont know shit and only post things when it's confirmed by 90% of the media.
I think it's a case of confusing 31m euros with 31m pounds. Lazy journalism.

One bunch say CR's off for sure, another bunch of journo's say Bale's leaving for sure.. Truth is.. Neither of them are leaving Madrid, esp. with that transfer ban pending. They can't afford to let either of them ago atm.. There's no ready replacement in the market they can buy to replace either of them

Memphis- € 27 million deal #PSV #MUFC: fixed, spacious & € 4 million variable. And by sales% of any future profit (I estimate 10 %).

No source, no justification, not even that he's 'hearing' stuff, he's just 'got a feeling'?

The Black Eyed Peas had a feeling, didn't stop them being wrong on every level.

Brilliant

I was able to view tweets in this thread but now they are hidden meaning I must click on date to view the tweets does anyone know how I can fix this?

Am I the only one who's not that excited at the potential prospect of signing Bale? I'm more excited about Depay yet the kid has it all to prove.

I'm very excited about "Memphis". He'll be a star, especially with LvG pulling the strings.

Nah, I am the same. Bale is a great footballer but he annoys me for some reason. Plus all the focus would be on him every week... don't fancy it specially not when he'd cost a ridiculous amount

Thought the same thing about Di Maria so will remain cautious this time in terms of predictions . I think it will all depend whether we will get the right signings in, surround him with a quality striker and a strong midfield and might see something special.

I feel the same way. Probably because he'd come with a ridiculous price tag and the last times I've seen him he hasn't done much of note.

Not the only one at all I'd say. I'm firmly in that camp.

Absolutely despise English journos these days, David Ornstein from the BBC who doesn't even cover United has been saying from the day Memphis signed that it's 25 million pounds upfront going up to 34 million pounds even though the Dutch journos who broke the story when not even a single English journo had a clue have been quoting way lower figures. Keep in mind that the Dutch journos are probably getting the information from PSV who have no reason to give out a smaller fee than what they actually got

English journos haven't got a clue. Not a clue.

They're quite embarrassing.
