I doubt LVG will stick around for 5 years. Plus if Pep becomes available and we have the chance to get him if he expresses interest, we can easily ask him to join us and LVG will understand. We won't be letting go of a manager of his ability for the sake of 1 year. Same goes for Pep, doubt he will take up the City job if he knows that we will be in for him when LVG leaves.
If it had been some other club, I would have understood but it's City we are talking about and not some really famous club with a huge following across the globe.

I can't see us letting letting LVG go after next if we win the league. But anyway, tweets:

People saying City going to offer Pogba 20 million a year which works out a nearly 400,000 a week. What?

Might be optimistic here but I would say we could potentially beat the likes of PSG and City for Pogba's signature. Same can't be said however for Madrid and Barca as they are more attractive destinations as of now. Don't think we'll go for Strootman this summer as LVG seemed to have hinted that we need a right footed defensive minded midfielder (which leaves out Strootman). Schneiderlin would make a lot of sense and wouldn't break the bank, still only 25.

Apparently Horst Heldt (the General Manager of Schalke) threatened yesterday that whoever doesn't give everything for the club won't see the next training session.

Guess he wasn't kidding.

Only way City can attract the top players. Paying them significantly more than anyone else can/will.

No chance with Bayern selling

Pep would probably go before Muller, no chance Bayern would sell him me thinks

They are sacking Pep long before they'd even consider selling Müller. He's Bayern for life.

Make of it what you will:

Manchester United are hoping to prise Thomas Mulleraway from Bayern Munich after the player's argument withPep Guardiola, according to reports.

The German international had a heated exchange with Guardiola after he was substituted against Barcelona on Wednesday, and this has prompted United to renew their interest.

Louis van Gaal is to looking move for the 25-year-old, reports The Mirror, having given the forward his debut for Bayern during his spell in charge.

Muller would cost United around £40m. They have failed on two occasions to sign him within the last year.

The World Cup-winning forward signed a four-year contract at Bayern back in January.

tbf, it does look like a lot of bollocks, player has argument with manager, player leaving 2+2 = 6,763.

Letting go of a player in his prime who has the club in his blood for a coach who cannot be sure of success? Pep or who else may come and go, Mueller will stay because he can play in any style. I won't bet on that

How is Muller only 25? Look at the head on him and I'm pretty sure he's been at every World Cup since the 70's! I'd take him in a heartbeat though, can play several positions and get goals in them all. I can't see him leaving Bayern.

Well Mueller has scored 24 goals overall in 4 world cups since 1970
