At the top left it says:

'Rode duivels moet minstens 40 miljoen opgbrengen'. Now I'm from SA and speak Afrikaans, so my rough translation leads to:

'Red devils must bring at least 40 million'. Red devils? Are PSG red devils or AS Roma or is this a reference to United?
Jou Afrikaans is nogal sterk, man! ;)

Long time man. Hope you're well.

Tried to read the entire article. It says that Pogba is PSG's top target, but of course he would cost a lot of money. If he should be unattainable, they would go for Naingollan. He has the possibility to go to Russia (Zenit), but doesn't want to go.
He would like to go to England, but he wouldn't be first choice at most top clubs, and teams just below the top 4 wouldn't be able to pay the requested fee. Vertonghen and Dembele would like him to come to Tottenham but Levy wont pay the fee.

Next season was always the plan for City, but they thought they could get him early. That's if you believe the press.

Everyone been saying it's a 'verbal agreement'

His contract at Bayern was 3 years. Next year is his last. I think they will try and grab him for 2016/2017.

That'll be a tasty year. LVG, Jose and Pep all competing in the same league.

If he goes to City, that's his chance gone to ever manage us. Doubt he would shut the door on managing United so early in his career.

Man City had a meeting with Pogba and agent in Torino. Super wage proposed. #MCFC started talks. Psg, Real, Barcelona too. Chelsea waiting.

I don't think PSG can afford him unless they sell some players and Barcelona are transfer banned this summer (maybe they will strike a deal for next summer but I doubt it if other teams want him now) I think he's going to end up at City.

What does he do if he wants to leave Bayern? We have LVG here and there were rumours saying LVG was keen on staying here for 5 years. Players don't wait around, I don't see managers waiting around either.

Depending on who is at the helm next season, Real are an option. Zidane is a big fan.

Out of interest why was @Lawtop20 blacklisted? He seems to know his stuff RE transfers. Even if he is cryptic and annoying.

You just know if Pogba goes to PSG or City his agent will be engineering him off to Real or Barca in two years time.

What happened? They released them because of a loss or because they did something crazy in that game?

Someone should tell Brenton he'll find it hard to attract top, top players now they aren't in the champions league.

No more Balotelli's and Lambert's mate.

I doubt LVG will stick around for 5 years. Plus if Pep becomes available and we have the chance to get him if he expresses interest, we can easily ask him to join us and LVG will understand. We won't be letting go of a manager of his ability for the sake of 1 year. Same goes for Pep, doubt he will take up the City job if he knows that we will be in for him when LVG leaves.
If it had been some other club, I would have understood but it's City we are talking about and not some really famous club with a huge following across the globe.

Good signing despite all the doom sayers who only want fancy names forgein imports.

(though isn't Duncan Castles a known BSer?)

I guess you rather pay twice the price for half the player.

There hasn't been a single English player that we have signed in recent years that wasn't overpaid and in the end never lived up to the massive hype. If you really think we couldn't find better players for £46m than Jones and Shaw you are deluded. £18m for clyne is right up that ally never mind he only has 1 year left on his contract, we are almost paying as much for him as we paid for Depay !

These overhyped English players are a waste of money !

You can simply get better for less money if you know where to search. Nothing to do with fancy names foreign imports. What English clubs ask for their average players is madness. The fact we seem to pay it to them every year is even bigger madness !

Unfortanately we have to, as we have to adhere to the english quota (which isn't in itself bad thing)

I agree in principle, we overpay for average english players, but really we don't have a choice until we start producing top english players of our own

That's insane! I really rate Kevin Prince Boateng! I hope we see him back in the PL!

I don't know anything about what he is like off the pitch btw, but rate him on it.

Hes a moron, complete tool in the Ghana squad during the last world cup
