Gutted about Dybala. We should buy this guy and with hopefully Depay, our offensive options would be immense.

We are a way bigger club than Bayern, if we want Depay we should be able to get him unless he has his heart specifically set on a move to Munich. With Blind and RVP already here and Strootman will 100% be added if he can prove his fitness, this shouldn't be a difficult transfer if LVG really wants him.

Bayern are a pretty massive club themselves (more league and European titles than us for a start) and currently have a much better side. Players could very, very easily choose them over us.

Not quite sure I'd say we're a way bigger club than Bayern. They have a great following around the world and make some great money through marketing, sponsors etc.

Their following around the world is absolutely minuscule compared to ours.

So? Even teams like Ajax and Liverpool have more European cups than us, it doesn't really mean anything. Prestige maybe, sure.

In my opinion, the only reason Depay doesn't end up at United is if LVG doesn't want him. Just because he's linked with Bayern, PSG etc doesn't mean we can't get him, if anything, it shows that other big clubs rate him. PSV are doing what they should, by inviting a bidding war so that they can extract maximum value from the sale of their best player.

I agree. If he doesn't come its because LvG has set his priorities elsewhere with the likes of Bale etc. But don't think that's going to happen since Bale would cost about 3 times as much as Depay.

Yeah. We're probably a bigger club in a global sense, but I think the great majority of non-British players would choose them over us right now.

Pep is pretty much confirmed to be leaving Bayern next summer right? That might hamper their plans in the transfer market somewhat. I think we'll still get Depay even if Bayern want him.

Depends how much control Pep has over transfers.

.
And they have a far better team and are coached by the guy who recently created the team everyone went bonkers over. That's more relevant to players than "more fans".

This. The Dutch and Germans have a very close football relationship as well.

I thought you were referring to Bayern buying/signing players from their Bundesliga rivals thus eliminating competition in the league.

I am, I'm just saying that the argument that selling clubs don't have to sell is irrelevant as to why I don't like It happening.

I don't benefit from Wolfsburg selling him, I just see another top star going there and either him or a top star already at Bayern going from 40 odd games a season down to 20.

It's not good for the neutral.

TBF, I feel we would have done the same had the Premier League not had so many big teams. It's a smart way to keep dominating their domestic league while still strengthening their squad.

Felipe Anderson may be an option.

To be honest, would much rather lacazette or kane over dybala.

I dont. Both of them are more or less pure strikers, Dybala isnt. He is far more flexible and his skillset is different than these 2 and what we already have. Opinions and all that, but i really love this guy.

'When I play with the Playstation, I always choose Barcelona or Manchester City.'
'I dream to play one day with one of those clubs.'

After what Dybala said (I'm not certain it is true, would you still want him here? I really have doubts over him and if he comes and does well, I can see him wanting to leave for Barcelona/Real Madrid in a few years.

Apparently he loves Jonah Lomu Rugby too, so if we're not careful he might end up running around a field with Gavin Hastings and Greg Chalmers.

Interesting that someone dreams of playing for Man City. Are they that popular world wide?

First player I seen dreaming of City. Sounds like a nightmare to me.

Not a big surprise, he probably idolizes Messi (Barca) and Aguero (City).

City must be one of the higher rated teams to play with on FIFA. That's the source of it judging by the quotes.
