Maybe its just pure speculation and one media is taking the news from another but that's a lot of talk about Hummels flying around.

before this season HUmmels was one of those players pledged to stay in the club for a long time. But at this time it's sorta different when there is little chance to play european cups. They still play Champions league this year tho, so maybe he will stay till the end of this season..

I think we have got bigger chance to sign Reus tho as he is winger which we will need for the future and the philoshophy.. he has got some contract clause that he can't go to bayern when Gotze or Lewandowski go there I am not sure now, some may now more..

I am optimistic about both HUmmels and Reus but about Reus more. Not sure if its happening in this window tho

We need a new centre back, Dortmund have been awful and we've been linked with him for ages, so it was inevitable really. Can't see him moving in January, they'd obviously be reluctant to sell and I'd imagine that he'd want to help try and get them out of their bad situation.

Dont think its inevitable but there's a chance I guess. If not now certainly in the summer.

I meant the speculation, I certainly don't think it's inevitable that we'll get him. Definitely a chance in the summer though I reckon.

Hummels definitely has his fair share of injury issues which is last thing we need at the back and he for me isn't as good as he is hyped up to be on the CAF. He will bring more leadership tho.

I'm assuming you watched all the games? Because that is simply not true.
Not all but some. Watched him in the stadium against Bremen.
He was terrible.
I'm not saying he's a bad player, but this season what games I saw he was not his old self.

Fair play, at least you watched him play then. Unfortunately you saw his worst performance of the season, weeks before he was voted player of the week because he played really well so he certainly hasn't played this bad in all his games.
It was very difficult for Hummels though, injured after the WC and rushed back in a not well performing team with varying defensive partners, then injured again a few weeks later only to come back to a team being in the relegation zone.

Does no one think there will be clauses in players contracts for if dortmund go down? A little defeatist but maybe they'd rather sell now than risk losing them for nothing at the end of the season. A lot will leave anyway without CL football.

Not sure about Gundogun, bad injury to come back from. £16m suggests he is nowhere near his best.

Why cant i see any of the tweets on here any more? i use Chrome by the way.
I had some problems with some chrome extensions. Disable one by one and refresh the page with twitter links. So you can find out which one is causing the problem.

He's barely 16. He needs to be at a club that nurtures talent. If he went to Ajax or the like he'd be in the first team next year after 6 months training with them. He'd then have 2 or 3 full seasons of adult football before making whatever mov he likes.

He'll train with the Real first team occasionally, play for their B side and then get a couple of loans into unfamiliar teams.

He sounded like him and his dad were really switched on and knew what was good for his development.

Its Atletico's ground and they have a great record promoting youth players recently. He'd probably go out on loan like most of their young players and then the next season come and compete for a place

Besides he's visited probably tens of clubs by now, it doesn't mean he'll sign for them

He's not joining Atletico.

He was there as Real's guest, Atletico are not in the running.

Didn't he used to work for Sky Sports?
Yep, looks like Goal have hired him to be their head Journalist, perhaps to use his "Sky sources" to add some legitimacy to their website.

We will get Hummels in the summer IMO

I think so too, Dortmund are way too far behind to finish top 3 to earn a CL spot and I'm sure a world cup winner like Hummels will want to be playing for a CL team and not battling relegation. Our fans have been annoying this season writing him off, he'd defensively solid, good in the air and can spray Scholes like 40 yard passes with both feet. He's exactly what we need.
