Well, well.. The new Fabregas is on his way to Milan.
This from 2 years ago:
I think that was because he felt he'd been misinterpreted when speaking to the press in English, he was joking about how he might need to brush up on it. For me, it's part of the reason he'd be my preference for a centre back signing. We could really do with someone at the back with his quality and experience but also his ability to lead and guide others, we've got so many young defenders and the likes of McNair, Blackett and even Jones could really do with someone with authority who can communicate with them.Oh wow I stand corrected. I remember him tweeting this summer about him trying to improve his english, maybe he meant writing...

Impressive I must say, no heavy accent either. Better than say Vidic who lived in England for 7-8 years.
So this guy won't be going to Liverpool either.
Yeah I'm delighted as well. Signing him would have made them a lot stronger.I'm pleased with that. Aside from his obvious stopping abilities, he's a good organiser. Something they are lacking.
Good signing for Roma, De Sanctis doesnt fill me with confidence although Cech is a bit old.Yeah I'm delighted as well. Signing him would have made them a lot stronger.
Angel Di Maria has been speaking to Radio America and inevitably Manchester United came up. The former Real Madrid player is enjoying himself since moving from La Liga and said that the club wanting him and fans singing in support of him has been something he's enjoyed. In Argentina for the national team Di Maria feels there's too much pressure and even when the country does well, like getting to the World Cup final, there's always people ready to knock the players down.
"Thank God I have the opportunity to be in big clubs. Things got better for me, I got better. Being in big clubs makes you get used to these things. That they sing my name or 'Argentina Argentina' fills me with pride."
Di Maria was pressed on Ronaldo returning to Manchester United and how it feels to now wear the same shirt his former teammate did. The pair were close at Real Madrid and Ronaldo often fought the corner of Di Maria as Florentino Perez tried to marginalise him at the club. Di Maria would of course like to play with Ronaldo again but thinks a move would be difficult and unlikely.
"I don't think he's coming to Manchester. It's hard to quit Real Madrid, Maybe, but I think he's having a great time and I don't see that he wants to change."
Di Maria already thinks he's a great footballer beside him in teammate Wayne Rooney and said "Rooney is an amazing player. With a quality mindset and desire to play every game that is unmatched. He plays every game 90 minutes.... He's a player who deserves to be here."
1) 30m for Bony
2) Eh FFP???
3) Aguero is back in training and Dzeko is close too
That fee is laughable.
Swansea did pay £12 million and he's had quite a decent record since coming to the PL so it's not a surprise that the fee is a bit inflated, especially when City are involved. It will most likely rise to that figure with add-ons but his signing will mean that Negredo and Dzeko can be shifted.
So is the one quoted for Falcao. I would rather take Bony at £30 million than Falcao at £40 million
Gomis has looked okay when he's played.Swansea will have to spend the money wisely, they should be safe this season, but if they don't get a good goalscorer they could be in serious trouble next season.
Will he score 20-25 goals a season?Gomis has looked okay when he's played.
