might be a good idea sending Wilson on loan to Swansea for half a season.

This would be awesome, but why would they take him? Hes scored 0 goals, if I were Swansea I wouldn't take that gamble when I've got £30m to spend on someone else.

signing on the cheap that will allow them to strengthen other areas or bank the money. and can pay off very well if he brings his reserve form to the pl .

Will he score 20-25 goals a season?

Maybe

Also important is thats not all he will do. Last season he was a successful goalscorer who couldnt hold onto the ball when it was played into him. Now he's a pretty good target man and can find a teammate, on top of scoring goals

Fee seems over the top but I think he'll be a good player for City

The team lack goals, they don't really need to strengthen in many areas bar goal scorers (they have pretty good midfield and defence), and Wilson has 0 goals. Thats a huge gamble.

they can always improve in those areas and Wilson is very capable of finishing the chances created for him.

don't see it as much of a gamble since they aren't gonna win anything or qualify for Europe this season.

Nice, we have a tough away game at Swansea coming up and without Bony I feel a bit more comfortable.

Chelsea are having a keeper fire sale it seems

They've got Gomis who will probably be their lead striker now. Wilson would get plenty of game time though.

I haven't been impressed with Gomis tbh, I reckon they will sign someone else.

United definitely, Felix. They’ll almost certainly bring in a centre half. Chelsea would like a defender, too, but are looking for a classier sort than on the January market. Can’t see City doing too much
So Chelsea are looking for a 'classier' sort of defender but we'll bring in any old shit?!

And City aren't doing much. Except signing a £30m striker.

a) They already have John Terry
b) As long as they aren't made of glass, I think we'll be happy in the short term

I'm taking that as saying Varane is not a viable transfer at all.

Can't get classier defenders than him, young and knows Mourinho.

No problem mate.

I'm happy for him too, because he comes across like a genuinely nice bloke and played some awesome football before he got injured. He gave some interviews after a few matches and said, that he doesn't have any problems with his back anymore. But I'm not a doctor or a specialist with those kind of injuries and don't know if it could trouble him in the long term. In my eyes he is worth the money we would need to pay for him, even if there could be some risk. Talent wise he has everything in his locker and he wouldn't be that expensive, considering the amount of money you would have to pay teams in other leagues for that kind of ability.

No, I'm not Croatian but I get your assumption :) half Irish half German ;)

You Michael Fassbender by any chance?

£30 million

Give me Benteke over bony anyday.
Benteke over Bony? Really? It's like taking Vardy over Falcao .. they purchased him for 12, his price is not less than double of that. Swansea have no cover for him and it would complicate things for them that they would have to go and look in the market. He is freshly 26, pretty young and established striker in the premier league. Very athletic and strong, underrated on the ball, great finisher, almost like Drogba. City have injury prone Aguero, inconsistent Dzeko and Jovetis. I think they would use him more than Chelsea Remy. Good business for both sides tho..

Bony is a really good striker, I like him. At 30m it's a better deal than Everton got when they signed Lukaku.

 thats a good one.

People were spoiled this past window and now expect an orgy of signings. I think if one of his targets become available LvG will act but I doubt they will. I can't see any deal for Gundogan he needs to get back to where he was pre injury before a club will go for him.

Doesn't sound right. Benteke is rather good and Villa refused to sell him for similar amounts before he got injured.
I know my view on him is quite clouded by the recent long term injury but after his return he doesn't seem quite at it. And I think they would accept 30 mil offer for him any day. Bony looks sharper and stronger and more ready for the step-up. Benteke has got time and is no doubt talented but will need a very strong finish to end up in a big club next season. Injury slowed his development down but who cares. We are "buying" Seamus Coleman as our potentially world class right back is made of glass. I overreacted. I tend to do it when some people overreact to make it even..

Shaqiri seems to be heading to Inter over Liverpool or Juve.
