Would love to see him at Everton, though there's competition there for spaces - not necessarily a bad thing.

Bruce did a great job with Welbeck and Martinez with Cleverley so wouldn't mind either. Would much prefer us to be using him here though, definitely has a lot to offer us.

Hull should be never a option for Januzaj.

3-4 more bad results for Hull and Bruce will probably lose his job.
If (Not a good idea imo) we send him on loan then to a club where the manager has a safe job for the next months.

The trouble with Januzaj at the moment is that not only do we not play with wingers but LVG also seems to prefer players who are more "complete" for their positions.

Januzaj offers a creative attacking threat but as far as the positions we can offer go he doesn't really warrant a start.

Striker: He doesn't offer the hold up play or goal threat we need.

Number 10: He's not good enough at dropping back and getting involved deeper and he's not going to displace Mata or Rooney from starting there while we're hungry for points.

Midfield: There's no way he's going to warrant a start in midfield ahead of Carrick, Blind, Di Maria, Rooney, Fellaini or Herrera.

The best position to develop a talent like him is out wide and we just don't play with wingers often enough to satisfy his needs. The sad fact is that right now we're not in a position where we can carry one youngster like we used to.

Last year he was fantastic but he was playing with no expectations and he was being accommodated to some extent. Moyes' instructions to him were basically go out and play like you know you can, essentially having a free role with little defensive responsibility. That role doesn't exist in Van Gaal's system.

He's got a lot of learning and growing to do before he can be trusted in this side, or, this side has a lot of learning and growing to do before it can accomodate a youngster like him.

No. Just no man. Football is a team game. £120m unless he's a prime Ronaldo or Messi is too big of an investment for one individual when could use that to overhaul a weak defense and solidify the midfield with 4-5 quality starters. Especially ridiculous when a much cheaper Reus could be had for 1/6th of that.

That's exactly why it's a none sense story, we could invest in a lot of players with that money, i think that we want Bale but like for Shaw it will be for cheaper.

A lot of sources are saying that Strootman to us is a done deal, I'm in the office in and twitter, fb, etc is blocked if anyone wants to dig out a tweet or two to confirm.

Yep, agreed. Could potentially by 3-4 world class players (or voles to that level) for that price which would improve our team much more.

Hummels, Reus, Strootman/Vidal etc.

Anybody with a sub copy and paste the article?

Nothing special really, just says all 5 are out of contract at the end of the year and have yet to sign a new contract. That is, James, Blackett, McNair, Lingard and Pereira.

Pallotta: Strootman will not join Man United.

Hopefully we are just waiting for the start of the new calendar year to officially sign them, De Gea and Carrick to new deals.

Should try him up top. Still think he's better than Wilson currently.

Yeah, I don't think we should be worried with any, really. Maybe James and Lingard I'd be pretty indifferent with, but the rest of those should be signed up come January.

It's funny because they are full of crap.
I recall the juve directors going on about Vidal in the same manner during the summer, it's just grandstanding.
Yeah and what happened? Vidal stayed.

And they wont exactly say, sure Strootman will leave, just name the price, will they?

The question here is...how good is Swansea's nightlife?

Strootman shouldn't be an option for Jan.

Let's see how he recovers from his injury. We don't need another injured player.

Does he have a bad reputation for partying? Dude was a FM beast 2 years ago for me :D

Partying? He's just responsible for the revitalization of the Lisbon night life since he came back from the Rennes loan (he did put up decent numbers there). Nelson Oliveira is just another case of a gifted footballer without a real professional approach to the sport and work ethic. Looked like a world beater in the U20 WC we lost to Brazil in the final but he just can't fulfill the potencial because of personality issues. On another note that will surely make United supporters sad, Tiago (or the artist formerly know as Bébe) is about to get release on loan as well. Poor Bébe.
