Schurrle will show his class at Wolfsburg. He was very good at the World Cup.
Aye, I think it looks ropey as feck, though perhaps that might be jealousy.
I think there was a 442 journo who said that he felt that deal stunk to high heaven when it was announced during the summer. The story went, from memory, that he had been punted around for a much lesser fee and suddenly his agent arrived back at Dynamo with a much, much higher offer from WBA.Brown Ideye set to quit West Bromwich Albion for Qatar
Brown Ideye is on the brink of leaving West Brom for the Middle East just a few months after joining on a club record deal.
Last summer Albion paid Dynamo Kiev £10m for the 26-year-old Nigerian's services and the club look to be taking a £6m hit as he heads for Al Gharafa in Qatar.
In a statement, the Premier League club said: "West Brom agree to sell Brown Ideye to Qatari side Al Gharafa for £3.77m, subject to payment guarantees satisfying club.”
It had been reported earlier that West Brom wanted £6m for Ideye who has scored just a single Premier League goal this season.

Why was poor De Gea subjected to having to carry this lot? He stands out like a swore thumb in that lineup.

Chelsea's deal with Wolfsburg is not that impressive considering we have to pay a higher fee and higher wages for Cuadradro. The numbers for Cuadrado and Mourinho not too keen on selling Schürrle were the reason that Wolfsburg had to pay the 3rd highest fee ever offered from a Bundesliga club. But for Chelsea it's deal which means that we have probably more costs of around 10 mil.Euros over the next 4/5 years because Cuadrado is simply more expensive.
Wolfsburg will initially pay something like £25m and the fee for Cuadrado was something like £27m. We also have to pay the agent for Cuadrado and his solidarity fee, so we pay minimum something like £31m for Cuadrado.I think the fees are comparable - depending on a source it's between £24m to £27m for Schurrle and £23m to £26m for Cuadrado. As for wages, how do you know how much Cuadrado's going to make at CFC? According to Telegraph, Schurrle will get close to £85,000 a week at Wolfsburg. I imagine, Cuadrado gets about the same at CFC.

Schürrle didn't earn that much at Chelsea and Cuadrado will get more because he is older and it's his final big career contract - potentially. But that maybe doesn't hurt us that much if we get any bonus payments for Schürrle.
The plot thickens...
It's lies, all lies. Now now, are you really suggesting that a stand up citizen like Roman Abramovich would be involved in any suspect business practices?
Me too. The reported fees for Cuadrado were mostly higher than the one for Schürrle. You can't ignore the solidarity fee which will be something like 0.5 - 0.75 m€. And the agent likes to get his expenses covered (and a big chunk on top of that).I just go by what I read in the press. The fee for Cuadrado is close to 23 potentially rising to 27. This is how Chelsea got Fiorentina to sell, by agreeing to a price that can potentially reach his actual buyout fee. Schurrle's fee is in the same range. Neither you nor I know what their actual wages are.
What is your reasoning for this?I think every team looking to play in the UCL should strengthen their squad by signing at least 1 player every window
You know transfer deadline day has really jumped the shark, when the BBC have a "Football Manager computer game expert" giving updates throughout the day on their live feed
Today Fifa Interactive World Cup 2014 Grand Final competitor David Bytheway and Football Manager expert Alex Stewart will be providing insight and analysis of players involved in deals from a gamer's perspective.
"Tim Cahill could easily be an important player for a mid-tabled Premier League team should they choose to sign him. With 99 out of 99 jumping and 94 heading accuracy on Fifa 15, he'd be a real threat from set pieces and could score some important goals. He's a very good option to have, even if it's just as a back-up. He could always take up high jumping in the Olympics if football doesn't work out..."
I know LGV has said we won't be signing anybody but I can't help feel disappointed at that, I still worry about our defense and our midfield still isn't great. Hopefully our squad is good enough to make the champions league next season but boy if we don't then we could struggle in the summer to get the big names.
Don't be so disrespectful, you feckless shit. He has 99 jumping. What have you ever done?Today Fifa Interactive World Cup 2014 Grand Final competitor David Bytheway and Football Manager expert Alex Stewart will be providing insight and analysis of players involved in deals from a gamer's perspective.

Yeh defo , seems funny how one player gets sold for silly money then someone comes in for around the same price . Ffp rule bending one thinksI'm still very skeptical of that 50 million fee for Luiz.
There must be some sort of FFP bending going on somewhere behind the scene.
